✴Sparkly✴ Purple Nails

Hey hey hey!
I have not worn glitter on my nails in years. Seriously. When I was little, that's all I wore on my nails. I had so many little bottles of clear polish with glitter. But they got old and dry so I threw them out few years ago. Since then, I haven't worn glitter on my nails. I have a few polishes with shimmer and slight glitteryness to them, but not actual nail glitter. A few months ago, a friend gave me a clear polish with blue and purple glitter in it. And now I'm wearing it! :)
I decided to do a mani of purple glittery nails.
I started with Sally Hansen's Instra-dri polish. It was A MESS. It took forever simply because it got all over my nails and hands. :( It did not dry instantly. It was insanely messy

Then I put the glitter on top of that. :)


I know it doesn't look sparkly in the pics, but it's actualy really glittery and sparkly.
I'm sorry the pics are so sucky :( Those 3 are the best ones...

Seven Pounds

hey Hey hey!
When I was at a sleepover at a bestie's house, we watched the movie Seven Pounds. We started watching it before going to sleep, then we turned it off because we were sleepy. So then the next day when we woke up we finished it. It's really long. It's also really confusing at first. It makes no sense. We kept asking each other what was going on. One thing that really made me think was the name of the movie. I kept wondering, Why is this named Seven Pounds? It is so confusing. But it all comes together at the end. My friend had to google it to find out the meaning of the title. It made sense after she googled it. It's also very sad. I think depressing is a better word. But it is moving and heartfelt and meaningful and it's just a great movie. So I think you should watch it if you haven't already. You will be sitting there wondering what the hell is going on, but keep watching. It will make sense to you at the end. I promise, it's worth it.

✧AVON SuperFull Midnight Mascara✧

Hey Hey Hey!
I got my AVON makeup I ordered! yay!!! I only got 3 things, 2 were mascaras! :) One of them is the new SuperFull Midnight mascara. I bought the shade Black Pearl. The catalog said it had sparkle. So I thought that meant it had glitter. It didn't have glitter. It doesn't sparkle.
Pros: plastic brush, no clumping, smooth application on top lashes
Cons: no sparkle like I thought, doesn't make lashes superfull, hard to apply on bottom lashes

So when I was putting it on, it was really weird, becuase the mascara would not get on my lower lashes. It's like it couldn't grip on or something...I kept running the brush across my lashes, wiggling the brush, getting more mascara on the brush, I basically tried every way of applying mascara, but it would not get on my lashes! I was like, WTF?

Also it didn't make my lashes super full like it promised, but it did make them look nice. Nothing amazing though. It's alright. I think I paid 4 or 5 dollars for it...so it's good for the price.

So my conclusion...if you like non-dramatic lashes, wear mascara on top lashes only, don't want sparkly lashes, and don't like spending money....get this mascara.

Halloween is this weekend!

yay!! I'm super excited for Halloween! It's this weekend! Wow time really does fly by so fast!
Omg I LOVE halloween!!
I'm really happy it's on a saturday this year. When it's on a weekday, I have to go home and sleep because I have to go to school the next day. :(
I'm so excited to give candy to trick or treaters, then go get me some candy for myself!! I don't care when people tell me I'm too old to go trick or treating. I do it every year. I don't care what my age is, I'm going to go out and have fun and get some candy. I was dissapointed last year becuase I didn't get much candy...but it was still fun...and I am going to continue going trick or treating. Last year, I even gave candy to trick or treaters that I could tell where in college. Their costumes were amazing too! They were the people from the Wizard of Oz. The girl that was Dorothy had such a cute costume! I loved it!

I'm not born with it, it's Maybelline

Hey hey hey!
So I recently bought Maybelline's Mineral Power products. I have the foundation, concealer, loose powder, pressed powder, bronzer and blush. I think that's all of them...
First of all, I love mineral makeup. I just like using it because I just think it's better for my skin. I don't know if it really is or not...
So here's what I think of this makeup!:)

Foundation: I really like this foundation. It blends so well and so easily. :). I'm quite happy with the coverage too. However, at the end of the day, I can just wipe it off with my finger. :(

Concealer: It's very easy to apply. I love the packaging and the little sponge. But it doesn't have very good coverage and it fades off my skin quickly. :(

Pressed powder: I love the design of the packaging. How the mirror swings out from the bottom :). Great idea! I was hoping it would have a suede powder puff like the Dream Matte Powder, but it had a sponge. . This powder didn't do much for all the shine on my face. It would make it less shiny for that moment, but then very soon, it was back to shiny. :(

Loose powder: I have 3 of them. I love them. They are soft and blend so well. Also, I can put on however much I want it doesn't get cakey. I love the little brush that comes with it! :) However, when I reapply it during the day it does not get any shine off.

Blush: I think it's my favorite blush. I have Original Rose. It's a very pretty pink on me. It goes on and blends very well :)

Bronzer: I'm really pale, and I don't like using bronzer. But I still bought it. I love the pretty star design on it ✯. Also it blends very well and the color is very pretty and not too dark.

So overall, the Mineral Power line products all apply so easily and blend so so well. But, they don't do much for shine and oil. Since my face is so freaking oily and shiny, I won't buy these products again. (Except for the blush, I'm in love with it.) But while I have them, I will enjoy them very much!!! ☺

Homecoming

Hey Hey Hey!
When I typed the title, I wrote hoecoming. Haha!
So this week was my school's homecoming. Que the screaming high school kids here.
Every past year in high school I dressed up for every dress up day, but not this year. I just didn't like the dress up days at all.

The parade was really fun! I'm in the French Club, so we walked in the parade. I was so much more fun than I thought it would be :)
The dance was alot of fun too! Homecoming isn't big at all in my school, so the dance wasn't big. But I had alot of fun! At first it was a little awkward because so many teachers and the new principal were all around, and watching people dance, but after a while....we were all just like, whatever, and we got our dance on.
I didn't go to the game....

I love Halloween. It is my 2nd favorite holiday. My birthday is the 1st.
I have my costume. I will be a.......nun!!! ☺☺ It's such a cute costume!! I will FREEZE!!! It is so thin!! I am definetly doing to wear long sleeves under it.
For the past 2 years, my "costume" was a red shirt and devil horns. I'm so happy that this year I have an actual costume! I also bought fake eyelashes, so my makeup will be super cute!
I am so excited!

Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Glitter Liquid Liner

Hey hey hey!
This liner is amazing! I love glitter!! :) It is so pretty. I love painting it onto my lashes. It's so sparkly and I love it.
It's from Victoria's Secret. It's from their Beauty Rush line. Everytime I go to Victoria's Secret they have Beauty Rush makeup for either 2 for $12, or 3 for $Iforgothowmuch. I always get lip gloss, but one time I just decided to get glittery eye liner. I freaking LOVE this liner! I don't get to use it often, though, becuase glitter on my face isn't a regular thing. But I love wearing it to dance parties. Flashing lights go well with sparkles. :)

Flood Warning

One of my favorite bands is Escape the Fate. Isn't that an awesome name? One day, I was at my friend Treasure's house. One of my other friends named Izzy was there too. They were googling pictures and videos of hot guys to show me. (Cuz you know, we teenage girls love looking at hot guys lol). So they showed me this video. And I really liked the hot guy. What I also really liked was the song. So after watching the video, I asked about it. They told me the song is called "The Flood" and Treasure let me borrow their lastest cd, This War Is Ours, to put on my ipod. (The cd is amazing by the way, I like every song.)
So right now, I have "The Flood" stuck in my head. And it is super amazing. I love it. It's a rock song, it even has some screaming in it. I have no idea what this flood is, I don't know what this song is really about... But it's a really really great song. I promise. Go listen to it! Now!

☠ Halloween stuff ☠

Hey Hey Hey!
One of the things that I love about Halloween is all the awesome Halloween stuff sold in every store!! I just want all of it. Everything. All the crazy fake lashes, glow in the dark nail polish, creepy decorations, candy, hot costumes, jackolanterns, I just LOVE everything Halloweenish!!! I'm the only person in my house that likes Halloween, so I never get alot of Halloween stuff :(. This year, however, my mom did buy pumpkins that light up (as if there was a candle inside, but it's a light bulb) and orange lights! So we will actually have a little decoration! :)
I really want to go to Walgreens soon, because they have awesome Halloween makeup! I saw a glow in the dark nail polish which I didn't buy...but now I feel like I need it!! Wouldn't it be awesome at a dance party? Or a sleepover? I also want to get some black lipstick. Just for the fun of it. I would never wear it in public.... Oh and of course I want Halloween eye lashes! Some super insane ones ☺

Can Can

Hey Hey Hey!
One of my all time favorite perfumes is Can Can by Paris Hilton. It is amazing! I don't know how to describe it.....so you'll just have to test it yourself! ☺ I got this in a set of Paris Hilton's perfumes, so the bottle is little. I like the original bottle's design alot better...but hey I still have the perfume so I'm not complaining! It's still cute with the little pink feather. This perfume was inspired by Moulin Rouge....which I LOVE! So of course I love the perfume too. (But not just because of that, it's a really good perfume, I promise) . I also love the ad for this perfume because Paris is in this cute outfit with amazing high heels and a really cute Moulin Rouge-y setting.
Words can not describe how much I love this perfume!
Oh I just remembered....one day last week when I was wearing it, a girl in my history class told me I smell like french fries...and that that's a good thing.....I said thanks, but it was strange....I haven't been around french fries in a while...and this perfume doesn't smell like french fries.....random side story

Morbid polish

Hey hey hey!
On many blogs, I've seen posts and swatches of WetnWild's new Craze nail polishes. Being a fan of nail polish and inexpensive brands like WetnWild, I had to try one of course! As I looked through blogs, I decided Morbid was my favorite. So I went to Walgreens, picked it up and bought it. Weeks later, I finally get to wear it. And I LOVE it!! I can not explain how much I love it. I got compliments on it, even my mom said it was pretty. And she usually doesn't like my nail polish. It is gorgeous! It is black with turquoise sparkle. The pictures aren't very good...the polish looks way better in person...

Maybelline Waterproof Liquid Liner

Hey Hey Hey.

This liquid liner is not good at all.
I didn't even want it, I got it free with a mascara. (They were packaged together.) I already had a black liquid liner that my friend gave me. So when I got this one, I threw away my other one because I thought it was getting old and I've never heard of that brand anyway. (later I found out that it's a brand that Sally's Beauty Supply carries.) So now I'm stuck with this one.
This liner goes on very well. But it fades. Very quickly. I put on anoher layer right before I leave the house, because I already see fading real close to my lashes. By the end of the day, it looks like crap.
Sorry Maybelline, I still love you very much.

So I saw Jennifer's Body, but this blog is about Jennifer's mani :)
In the movie, her nails were pink except her middle finger nail, which was black. I thought it was so cute. So simple, and so cute! I absolutly love it. The color combo is great. I want to paint my nails like this so badly! But not right now, because the movie is so recent. I'll probably do it in 3 weeks or something like that...

Jennifer's Body

Hey Hey Hey!
I went to see Jennifer's Body on Friday. It was so amusing!! I really liked it.
I really liked the script, it was great. The characters were great too. I loved watching Megan Fox play this role. It was extremely different from the other movies I've seen her in. I thought that the reason why Jennifer was eating boys was very strange and kinda stupid. But like I said, it was very entertaining.
I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't talk much about it. If you like scary movies, or like the cast, go see it!! You will have a good time. It's definitely an amusing movie!

Covergirl Fruit Spritzers Lipgloss

Hey hey hey.
I don't have alot of makeup from Covergirl. I have one Fruit Spritzers lipgloss in Guava Splash. I don't like it at all! :(
Pros: smells good
Cons: really weird taste, fades extremely fast, NO COLOR at all
The fruity scent is the only good thing about this gloss. Besides that, I think it's pretty sucky. Sorry, Covergirl. This gloss is pink in the tube, but completely clear on my lips. That's how sheer it is! Ugh I hate sheerness in makeup. I hate it!! I am not buying one of these glosses again!!

WetnWild white nail polish

Hey hey hey.
I used this nail polish last weekend for my dice nail art. It chipped two days later. Two days. I think this polish is pretty crappy (sorry WetnWild, I still like you). It's so thick, but somehow the first coat is sheer. Painting my nails with this polish was very messy. Then 2 days later it has chips and cracks in it. :(
I will definetly buy a new different white polish when I get the chance. Don't buy this one. It is a waste of 99 cents.

I will miss Max Factor

Hey hey hey.
Max Factor will not sell in the United States anymore after next year. :(. That makes me so sad!!! I just got into that brand! I cannot believe that they won't sell here! Everytime I go to Walmart, the Max Factor section has alot of stuff sold out. Especially their eyeshadows. There's always barely any left. :(. I will miss Max Factor so much. I just can't believe they won't sell here anymore! Max Factor started way back in the day. Hello, the man came up with the word "makeup"! His makeup was used on Hollywood moviestars! I think it is a classic and iconic makeup brand. Oh why why why do they have to stop selling where I live??!! :( I want to buy as much Max Factor as I can before they're gone. I am so so sad. :(

To whoever came up with Ramen soup, Thank You

Ramen soup. Amazing. I am so happy it exists. It is so good. And super easy. I can not cook. But I can make Ramen soup!
So many of my friends always loved Ramen but I didn't try it. Until one random day a few months ago when my mom was eating it. I didn't know she even knew what ramen was. So I tried it. And I was amazed.
Now I like eating Ramen. It's cooking on the stove in the kitchen as I'm typing this. YES!!! Haha
Whenever I'm really hungry and have no cooked meal food, I make Ramen. I can always depend on it. I walk into my kitchen at a random time, can't find food, so I go to my Ramen stash. My mom doesn't even buy the individual ones. She buys the box.
I really hope the Ramen is done by now. Because I really want to eat it now!!

Ralph Lauren Rocks

Hey Hey Hey!
Ralph Lauren Rocks is one of my all time favorite perfumes!! (yes, it's that awesome). I first smelled it in a magazine ad, and more than a year later I finally got it!! I had to beg and beg my mom to buy it for me, it took a long long time, but in the end I succeeded. To me, this perfume smells like oranges and coconuts. I call it my cocorange perfume. :D Rocks seriously smells amazing. I get a good number of compliments when I wear it, and one of my friends actually liked it so much that she went and bought it. Shout out to Lindsey! I'm so happy I have this perfume! I highly recommend it. Next time you're in a store with perfumes, ask to test it. I bet you'll like it! And if you don't, well how could you not like it??

This is not going to be a fun week...

Hey hey hey.
This week is not good :(. I have exams. Even though they are not hard. At all. I just don't want to have to study alot and take the long tests. :(. And this year, my school has a new schedule that I don't like at all, so we have 8 exams. Instead of 4 like the past years.
Today I took my Trig and my US History exam. The trig test was really easy I think I made a A+! I know for a fact that I got an A+ on my history test. The test was the exact same questions that were on our study guide! The only differences were that the questions were in a different order, and the multiple choice choices were in a different order. And I got 16 bonus points. Ha, that exam was a joke. So I'm happy my first 2 were very easy. Now I have 6 more. :(. Not fun.
Anyway, I am going to post more posts tomorrow. I like having my posts in order every day after each other. So I'll fill in the missed days. Right now I'm on my iPod touch. It just told me I have only 20% of my battery left. My mom is on the computer. So I don't want to post alot on my iPod.
I think I should go to sleep now. So I'll be all rested for my tests tomorrow! Even though I don't ever go to sleep early if I have a test...
Anyway, looking on the bright side, the first fourth of school is over! And it's October! Halloween!! Woo!!!

I did a dice mani! :) It's so cute. I've seen pictures on the internet of people with their nails painted with dots like dice, but this is the first time I've ever tried it.
I used the usual colors of white and black. The white I used is from WetnWild, it's called French White Creme. And the black is Maybelline's Express Finish, I don't know what the name of the shade is.
If you look closely, you'd see the dots are messed up and not neat...shh...

My thumb has 5 dots, even though only 3 are visible on the picture...

The Eye

Hey Hey Hey!

One of my favorite scary movies is The Eye. It came out last year. In the movie, Jessica Alba plays a girl named Sydney who is blind, so she gets a cornea transplant. Then she sees all these weird, scary, creepy, unusual things. I don't want to spoil it if you haven't seen it already, so I won't say much about what happens in the movie.
I think it is a really good movie! It's scary and really interesting. It is a remake of a Japanese horror movie. I really like Japenese horror from all the remakes I've seen. If you haven't seen this movie already, and you like scary movies, go rent it and watch it! I saw it in the movie theater, then when it came out on DVD I bought and I was so happy! It's one of my favorite movies :)

I'm Obsessed with "Obsessed"

I absolutely LOVE Mariah Carey's new song "Obsessed" !!!!
I could listen to it over and over again. Wait a minute, I already do that. :)

It is from the her new CD, Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel. Which is in stores now. I really really really want it but I can't put any songs on my iPod because the computer that I used for my iPod is gone. Broken. Can't be fixed. Que the sad music.
Anyway, this song is amazing. I love it. It's pretty self-explanatory. It's about a guy who is obsessed with her. The video is also good. It has Mariah singing and doing her thing. And also it has Mariah dressed up as a boy to play the guy who is obsessed with her. haha!
When I first saw the video, I didn't even know Mariah had a new cd and/or song. So I was really happy and of course I loved this song that very moment I heard it.

~ Heiress ~

Hey Hey Hey!
I've been wearing Heiress by Paris Hilton this week. It's such a great perfume. It's not my favorite from all of her perfumes, but it's definetely at the top. My bought mom it for me for Christmas 2 years ago. She promised to buy me a purse I wanted, but then the store didn't have any left. So she felt really bad and bought me this perfume as a surprise. I absolutely loved it! It was a great surprise!!

I love the bottle so much! Inside, the back has this pink hologramic (if that's the right word) thing. And it sparkles and is so pretty. On the back on the outside is a mirror. Mine is all scratched up by now, but I still love it.

This perfume is great! If you like perfumes, go check this one out. :)
