Candy Corn Kisses??

So since yesterday's post was about candy, I thought that today's post will be about a really gross candy that was in my Halloween trick or treat candy. 

I thought I was about to eat a Hershey's Kiss, you know, the regular chocolate one, but when I opened it, I saw that it was in fact colored like candy corn. And it tasted kinda like candy corn. It was gross. 

Candy is super unhealthy and makes you fat

Did I really just type that as the title?
Yes. Yes I did.
Because it's true! I might as well say it.
Because Halloween just occured a while ago, many people might have lots of candy in their possession. I know I do. I went trick or treating and I got me so much candy. This time of year is the ONLY time I allow myself to eat a lot of candy. Don't get me wrong, every now and then I like to enjoy a Snickers or some other chocolate. By every now and then, I really mean VERY occasionaly. I'm not a candy-eater. I HATE eating unhealthy food. Some of it tastes good, so occassionaly I'll eat it. But I do not eat it often. I couldn't eat junk food all the time, I can't do that to my body :)
So what I'm trying to say in this blog post, is that candy is very bad for you. But it is a holiday, so enjoy a few pieces of yummy candy. But don't go overboard. And seriously, don't eat it all the time!!

Happy Halloween everyone!

It's such an adorable costume! Some people actually asked me what I was, even though my hat says TAXI in all caps, just like that. Haha

I had a great time! I absolutely LOVE this costume! It's definitely one of my favorites ever!

Last year's Costume

This year I knew that it would be hard to top last year's costume. I expected to have a hard time finding a good costume I liked.

It was an amazing costume.
My dad didn't like it because he thought it was offensive to Christians. Well, I did get a few disapproving looks from older neighbors...but everyone else loved it!
I LOVE this costume! I had a great time last Halloween.

Halloween nails!

 

I really wanted to do a Halloween inspired manicure, so this is what I came up with. It's very simple, but I like it alot. After I finished, I thought I should have made the middle finger have a black tip instead of the thumb, but I was too lazy to change it. And the orange takes a while to dry, so I didn't want to have to wait for that again. 

I was going to a pumpkin, but it just looks like a random creepy face, so it works!

I'm going trick or treating!

I am 17 years old. And I am going trick or treating. Just like I do every year. Now some people might think I am too old to go trick or treating. I think they are incorrect. I'm still in high school, and I live with my parents, It's not like I'm in a steady career with my own house and bills and all that stuff. I'm young, I want to have fun. So that means, CANDY for meeee!! Even though as a teenager I get way less candy than when I was little. I dress up, I have a costume, I participate well. So I say, "trick or treat"!

1. I get to dress up in a super cute/hot costume
2. Candy from trick or treating
3. Dance partyyyy
4. It gives me something to look forward to in fall, which is a season I dislike
5. Seeing other people dressed up
How could this not be my favorite holiday?!

My Halloween costume came!

My Halloween costume that I ordered finally came in! I was so nervous about it that it wouldn't fit, but it fits!! I'm not going to say what it is just yet...but it's a great costume! I am in LOVE with it! I can not wait to wear it :D

I'm getting excited for Halloween!

I'm getting excited for my favorite holiday! It's disappointing that it's on Sunday night. Boo :(  But I'm still going trick or treating!! And one of my friends is having a party on Saturday! :D I'm so excited!! I hate the fall, so this is the one day that makes it better!! I ordered the cutest costume online and I'm so excited for it to get here. It will be my best costume so far. I'm going to have A BLAST on halloween weekend! oh em geez :)

It's OCTOBER!!

Yes, It's October. This makes me super happy and kinda sad. Because Halloween is my favorite holiday!! I am so excited for it :)   But the part that makes me a little sad is that this is the month when it gets cold where I live. If you know anything about me, you know that I despise the cold weather. It is my arch enemy. I literally loathe being cold. I just hate how it feels. I feel it on my skin and in my bones and it's just everywhere and I can't escape it! Even in my room I have to freeze because of our damn heating/air conditioning system. And also, I hate wearing a lot of clothes. That might sound strange, but my style consists of things like halter tops, booty shorts, mini skirts, tube tops, etc. Basically I like to show some skin. In winter I can't do that. I hate how it feels to have so much clothes on; all the layers and layers of fabric surrounding me. My main goal in life is to move somewhere with my ideal temperatures. Anyway, enough ranting. I'm ridiculously excited for Halloween!! I'm currently in the process of getting a costume :D  There's an insane amount of possibilities, I just don't know what to choose! It's a hard hard decision.

Halloween is this weekend!

Hey Hey Hey!
yay!! I'm super excited for Halloween! It's this weekend! Wow time really does fly by so fast!
Omg I LOVE halloween!!
I'm really happy it's on a saturday this year. When it's on a weekday, I have to go home and sleep because I have to go to school the next day. :(
I'm so excited to give candy to trick or treaters, then go get me some candy for myself!! I don't care when people tell me I'm too old to go trick or treating. I do it every year. I don't care what my age is, I'm going to go out and have fun and get some candy. I was dissapointed last year becuase I didn't get much candy...but it was still fun...and I am going to continue going trick or treating. Last year, I even gave candy to trick or treaters that I could tell where in college. Their costumes were amazing too! They were the people from the Wizard of Oz. The girl that was Dorothy had such a cute costume! I loved it!

I love Halloween. It is my 2nd favorite holiday. My birthday is the 1st.
I have my costume. I will be a.......nun!!! ☺☺ It's such a cute costume!! I will FREEZE!!! It is so thin!! I am definetly doing to wear long sleeves under it.
For the past 2 years, my "costume" was a red shirt and devil horns. I'm so happy that this year I have an actual costume! I also bought fake eyelashes, so my makeup will be super cute!

☠ Halloween stuff ☠

Hey Hey Hey!
One of the things that I love about Halloween is all the awesome Halloween stuff sold in every store!! I just want all of it. Everything. All the crazy fake lashes, glow in the dark nail polish, creepy decorations, candy, hot costumes, jackolanterns, I just LOVE everything Halloweenish!!! I'm the only person in my house that likes Halloween, so I never get alot of Halloween stuff :(. This year, however, my mom did buy pumpkins that light up (as if there was a candle inside, but it's a light bulb) and orange lights! So we will actually have a little decoration! :)
I really want to go to Walgreens soon, because they have awesome Halloween makeup! I saw a glow in the dark nail polish which I didn't buy...but now I feel like I need it!! Wouldn't it be awesome at a dance party? Or a sleepover? I also want to get some black lipstick. Just for the fun of it. I would never wear it in public.... Oh and of course I want Halloween eye lashes! Some super insane ones ☺

I went to Walmart for a Halloween costume and....

Hey Hey Hey!
Me and one of my besties went to Walmart yesterday to look at their Halloween costumes. My town is little, and we have Walmart. So my friend and I went together because we thought it would be fun to try on costumes together and maybe even get matching costumes. So we're in walmart. We see cute costumes. We picked up a bumblee costume and a ladybug costume and go to the try on place. And we couldn't try them on. We were told that we can buy them and try them on at home and return them if they don't fit. We took the costumes back and put them on their hanger things and went to the makeup section.
I think it's stupid that we couldn't try them on. I was really pissed. But I really really really want an actual costume this year!! For the past 2 years I had devil horns, and red shirt, and a black skirt. And I was a devil. That was my costume. This year I want an actual costume.
I don't know if I should just buy one and then try it on at home. I don't have anywhere else to get a costume. I've seen such CUTE ones on the internet, but I can't order any online. :(
I'm so sad becuase I really really really want a costume!!!
