Today my brother found out that dry shampoo exists

Today my brother walked into my room and says "I wish there was shampoo, that you can just spray on your hair and then brush it and your hair is clean!" I said nothing. I just handed him my 3 bottles of dry shampoo. He replied "Whaaaat??" in shock.
Hahahaha. It was too funny. 

Split Ends :(

I hate split ends. Who doesn't? I have thin and weak hair, so of course I have tons of split ends in my hair. The only way that I know of to get rid of them is to cut them off. So that's what I do when I get really bored. I just look through my hair after dividing it into sections and then I snip off as many split ends as I can find. I realize getting a hair cut would help this situation, but I refuse to cut my hair. I don't want to lose any length! So I just cut off split ends. It takes a long time, and I don't even know if it helps any. But that's how I deal with it.

Center Part

A lot of people hate on center parted hair! I don't understand why. I like it! I do think that on me, it usually looks bad in photos. Not this picture, I like this one. Heehee. But anyway...I switch up my part. Now that I'm trying to let my bangs grow up, it's easiest to part my hair in the middle so my bangs don't fall in my face. When I have a side part, I slant them and they fall in front of my eyes. So I don't know which part is my favorite, or which looks best on me. I say, switch it up!

I've joined the dark side

Brunette.

I am a brunette. My friend Treasure dyed my hair for me. I bought a box dye from CVS and Walgreens (CVS only had one left, and it was on sale too!). I got the Natural Instincts dye from Clairol. The color is Navajo Bronze, light caramel brown. We left it on for 17 minutes so it would be darker.
I'm sad that I'm not blonde anymore, but I do like this color. It is a semi-permanent dye so it will wash out. I've had it for a week now, and it's getting lighter. Which makes me sad because now I just want dark hair. In 4 weeks, I'm going to dye it again, but I'm going to try a different brand.
So, yea. I'm a brunette. It's been a long time since I've seen myself with brown hair. It was hard to get used to at first. But I did this for the health of my hair, so I think it's worth it =)

So since my bangs are super long and I don't want to cut them, they really get on my nerves way more than before. So I pinned them back. And I really liked how it looked. Since my roots are dark, I think it looks kinda coolish like this. It's brunette on top and blonde on the rest. Kinda cool?

My 3 hair colors

I have 3 different colors in my hair. And not in the good, cool, intentional way. As you can see in the picture, I have dark brown roots, then a strip of dark blonde, then gold blonde. The gold blonde is the color I've been getting my hair dyed for the past year. That's the color that's supposed to be there, the rest of my hair is that color. The dark blonde was an accident. I got my roots redone a few months ago and I guess my hair stylist used the wrong color. And then the dark roots are my natural color growing out. Some people don't notice the 3 colors, but at times it's pretty obvious. I know it looks bad, but for right now I'm not doing anything to it. I'll figure something out eventually. But until then, yay for bad roots!

Attempted waves went wrong

Um....yea. It's bad. I slept with my hair in braids so it would be waves. This works, but this time I decided to try three braids so that there would be more waves. Well this is the horrid result. Next time, I'll stick with one braid.

I guess this is what I'd look like with short hair

I had my hair twisted in a butterfly clip and the the ends of my hair fell over the sides and it kinda made it look like I have a short hair cut. Heehee.

Tired of bangs in your face?

If your bangs are long enough, then you might constantly be annoyed by them. You know, when they get all up in yo face and stuff. So here's a cute and simple hairstyle for your long bangs.
1. Part your bangs. Middle, left side, right side, wherever you want.
2. If you want to use hair products, get hair gel, spray, serum, or creme and smooth down your bangs with it. Don't put too much product, or your hair might get to looking a bit greasy.
3. Brush your other hair, not including your bangs, back away from your ears.
4. Grab all of your bangs on which ever side you start, and pull them to the side of your face, right to your ears.
5. Hold up your other hair and pin or clip your bangs right above or behind your ears, depending on how long your bangs are.
6. Cover the clip with your other hair by placing it over the tucked away bangs.
That's it! And hair spray if you'd like :)

So it's super simple. This is the first time I've written out directions for doing hair, so I hope it made sense!

Actual real spiral curls in my hair! This is rare.

My hair is curly! Real spiral curls. It's amazing. I'm in love. 

So me and one of my best friends Ana went to a game together, so of course we had to get ready together. I went to her house and she did my hair. Now, let me just say, I freaking LOVE it when Ana does my hair. She can do amazing things with it! She can curl my hair perfectly. I can never curl my hair. It never works, my hair never holds the curl. But she can do it. I don't know if it's her skill, her products, or maybe she has some secret trick. But she can turn my stick straight hair that can't hold anything into perfect spirals. This time she put it up into a ponytail and it was absolutely gorgeous. I got so many compliments and I told everyone who did my hair that day :)

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle!!!

And now I present to you....the most amazing and effective conditioner....I've ever used:

 The Aussie 3 Minute Miracle. AKA amazing hair in a bottle.

I can not explain just how much I love this product right here. It's literally a MIRACLE. It works on my dry, damaged, straw-like hair. It makes my hair crazy soft. I just keep running my fingers through my hair after using this. My hair has never been this soft before. When I'm in the shower, rinsing it from my hair, my hair is soft already. When my hair is wet, it feels pretty coarse. But after this, it's incredibly soft. And it smells amazing. It has such a great fragrance. And it's less than $4 in my Walmart. Could this product be any more PERFECT?? It's my favorite hair product

Blue Crayola!

Wooo it's Homecoming Week!!!! :)
So everyday we have a theme to dress up as. One of them was crayola day, so we wore one color head to toe. I picked blue. Why blue? No it's not my favorite color, I actually don't even have a favorite color. I picked blue because I want blue hair. So this gave me a reason to wear a blue wig. Smart, right?

After quite a while, I went and got my roots dyed. I am now almost broke, but my hair is something I happily drop cash for.

It was much needed! I look natural now :D In the after picture, I know the roots on my bangs look darker, but that's just because of the shadow/lighting. It ends up like that on quite alot of pictures.
As you can see, I'm a natural brunette. Yea, I'm legit! My hair is darkkk. But I've been lightening it for the past 2 years!
So now I am 100% BLONDE!!
I wish I was a natural blonde. Oh how I envy those natural blondes out there...grr...

August Favorites!!

I posted my August favorites video a while ago! This favorites video is all about hair products!! I've been dying my hair for such a long time now. My hair's texture is not the same as before. As of right now, my hair is dry, damaged, weak, and frizzy. Not good. :(  So this month I invested my little monies into some hair products! I've never really been into hair that much, so I didn't have alot of hair stuff. But this month I went out and bought stuff to make my hair better. I'm trying to "heal" my hair. So watch my video

The Side Braid....Always works

This hairstyle is impossible to look bad. It's so easy and quick and it always looks cute.

That's right in front of the window in natural light. Yea that's my real eye color. It looks extra cool because of the green eyeshadow. It adds to the whole green effect.

How I Got My Naturally Straight Hair To Have Slight Curls/Waves

In the evening, I washed my hair and put Beyond The Zone Thick Enuff Thickening Mousse in it after letting it towel dry a bit. Then I sprayed Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves Wave Enhancing Spray all over it. I let it air dry a tiny bit more. Then I put my hair in two buns on each side of my hair. Then more wave enhancing spray. Then I went to sleep. It was very uncomfortable. .

Ignore how my face looks absolutely terrible, okay? I had no makeup on, and I already took out my contacts. yay for nerdy glasses! =)
And the result:


In the morning I took out the buns and sprayed more wave enhancing spray. And then I sprayed all of it with Dove Damage Therapy Flexible Hold Hairspray.
And ta da that was what I did!! It kinda worked. My hair is super stubborn and doesn't curl at all! So this is probably the best I can do.
