The last day of 2009

Hey hey hey.
Tomorrow is the last day of 2009.
:( I find that really sad. I don't like New Years, I just think it's depressing. I don't see it as the start of another year, I see it as the end of a year.
Now 2009 is ending. It's almost over. It's been an alright year for me. Better than the one before it. I'm sad to see it go. :(
The date will never have 2009 on it after tomorrow.

Holidays

So I'm loving my holiday break from school. I sleep all day until 3-4 PM, I get up and eat, then I get on my new laptop until about 4 AM. It's great. I wish I could be nocturnal all year round, but unfortunately, I have to go to this horrendous place called school.

Adam Lambert

Hey Hey Hey!
So I blogged about "For Your Entertainment" and now I heard another one of his songs called "If I Had You" oh em geez. It's great! It's so catchy, and I have to dance when I hear. No matter what I'm doing.
I love love love Adam Lambert! I really need to buy his cd.
This song is a love song. It's about how "you" are better than "money, fame and fortune". So basically, the message of the song is: you're so amazing and way better than any material item, you're all I want.
Good interpretation, right? I mean, the lyrics are really obvious.

I'm sucking at blogging...

So I didn't blog for a while, then I said I was going to blog again, then I didn't.....so if anyone reads this, I'm sorry. I've just been preoccupied...I do have things that I want to blog about though...

Half purple Half blue nails :)

Hey Hey Hey!
So I did this quite a while ago....I'm behind on blogging....
Here it is:


The blue side is Pure Ice polish in Splash


The purple is Sally Hansen InstaDri in Pronto Purple




All I did for this was paint my nails blue. Then the next day I put scotch tape on my nails so it covered one half and then painted the uncovered half purple!
It's really easy. :)
And totally CUTE!!

I cropped these photos but I'm on my new laptop and the Kodak software works differently than on the Mac I was using, so I saved the pictures cropped but I don't know why they are still uncropped....sorry about that

How was Christmas??

Oh em geez!!! My Christmas was Freaking Amazing.
I didn't ask for anything this year, and my parents surprised me with a LAPTOP!!!! omg I'm still shocked! I also got a few small presents. :)
So I hope that everyone's Christmas was great and fun!!

Christmas is tommorrow! It doesn't feel like Christmas time to me though.....hmm..strange. I didn't ask for anything, I just told my family to surprise me. I already know what 2 of my presents are though. But they're just little presents. I hope that everyone is having a great holiday!!

L'oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara

Hey Hey Hey!
I discovered one of my new favorite mascaras! It is from L'oreal Paris and it is called Extra Volume Collagen Mascara. I love it. I was in Walmart with a friend, and I saw it and I bought it. For no reason really. And I am very happy I bought it. It's great.
Pros: makes my lashes thick, doesn't clump, easy to apply
Cons: flakes a little bit
I love using it!

My Chemical Romance. One of my favorite bands. I LOVE them.
Their song "Ghost of You" from the album Three Cheers For Revenge is absolutely amazing. I love love love love love love love love love love it.
It is about the death of a loved one. It's really sad. It's so meaningful and emotional.
The video is literally one of the best music videos I've ever seen. Ever. It has so much meaning. It has the band acting as U.S. soldiers and it takes place during WWII and D-Day. It has the band playing at an event and then them fighting on the Normandy beach. The acting in it is great. It really looks like it's the theme song/video from Saving Private Ryan. That's what I thought the first time I saw it. But then I found out that it was on one of their albums, not the soundtrack.
This song and video is perfection. Go look it up if you haven't heard/seen it. Trust me, you'll be happy you did.

It's been so long...
I left the Blogosphere due to me being sick and to me having exams at school :(
But I'm back now. I'm just so tired but I do have things I want to blog about.
So When I miss a day of blogging I just post up a blog and change the date so it's that day that I missed. So now I don't know if I should do that for last week or not. I already told you that I didn't blog....
I don't know...
I probably will fill in the days because I like it on my page when it's in order day by day. :)

I recently discovered an AMAZING song. It's called "Kiss Me Kill Me" and it's by a band named Mest. I've never heard of them before, and this is the only song I know from them. But it's so so so so good. I love the lyrics. "If I could do it all again, I would change most every single thing...I would let you..Kiss me, kille me..your kiss is torture, but killing me would be too easy" <3
I keep listening to it on YouTube over and over again. That's where I stumbled upon it. I'm glad I did because, like I said, it's amazing.

I was in CVS today and I found a pack of 10 wetnwild nail polishes for $5. So of course I had to buy it! It made me so happy :) I love nail polish. The colors are soooo pretty

I love Pink! I just think she's such a great singer. I recently listened to her song "Last To Know" again. I don't have this song so I kinda forgot about it. So when I heard it on my Pandora internet radio, I had to go look it up and listen to it again because it's great. It's from a few years ago. It's so good. I love it :)

Maybelline Mineral Power liquid foundation

So I know I've already talked about Maybelline's Mineral Power liquid foundation, but I want to talk about it again. I usually don't wear liquid foundation all over my face, but I've been using this one again for the past 2 weeks maybe. And I really love it. It's just so good. And I wanted to write another post about it to recommend it even more. It's so smooth and easy to apply. I just put it on my face like I would put on a moisturizer. And it feels like a thin moisturizer. It's so liquidy and I really love that. I hate thick liquid foundation. The coverage is pretty good. My skin is not good. I have mild acne, and it's not too bad, but it's enough to bother me and make me wear foundation. So I rub this all over my face and then pat it on my breakouts and it works! My skin looks really nice. After a while, my skin is oily again because, well, that's my face. So if you want a good drugstore foundation then definitely check this one out.

Maybelline 'The Provocative Eye Look'

So since it's Christmas time, Walmart is selling a bunch of gift sets. I saw Maybelline makeup sets. Maybelline is my favorite brand of makeup so of course I had to buy one! It is called The Provocative Eye Look. The set has an eyeshadow quad in Charcoal Smokes, Lash Stiletto mascara and Line Stiletto both in black. I haven't worn any of it yet. It looks so cute brand new in it's little box :)

I felt sick.... :(

So I've been feeling sick :( My head hurt, my throat hurt, I was so exhausted... So I checked out of school Thrusday and slept. Then I stayed home friday and slept. I had to get up very early yesterday to take the ACT but then I went to sleep at 6 pm. And today I got up at 12 noon. So I got many many hours of sleep :) And I feel a little better now! :) So I have blogging to catch up on! I'll probably post stuff for the missing days tomorow because now I have to work on homework bleah

Resident Evil: Extinction

Hey Hey Hey.

So I was in Walmart quite a while ago, and they had DVDs for $4. They had a pretty good selection. One of the DVDs that I bought was Resident Evil: Extinction. I was so happy. I love Resident Evil so freaking freaking much. And Extinction is my favorite in the trilogy. This one has an awesome cast. And I really love the plot of this movie. First of all, I just love zombie movies. They're awesome. I love how the 1st Resident Evil movie is in a building, the 2nd is in a town, and the 3rd is the whole planet. But one thing that I don't like in this one, is the zombies. In the 1st I loved how they were slow and still looked like living people. In this one, their skin is all dried out and they are fast. But I like this one the most. The other two are still amazing and I love them also. I highly highly recommend these movies to people who like horror and action movies.

My first day of school

It's storytime.
So one day when I was a little kid, I found out I had to go to kindergarten. So one morning, I woke up way too early, to go to school. I put on a pretty dress and took my cute teddy bear. My dad took pictures of me in front of the car right before we left. I get to school and I go to my classroom. I meet the teacher. The teacher shows me my little box like thing where I should put my belongings. The teacher takes my beloved teddy bear and shoves her into the very back. I was not happy with that. At all. I was freaking pissed. I love my teddy bear. I still sleep with her now (don't judge). She shoved her into the very back of this tiny wooden block thing!!! That was very traumatic for me! I wanted to cry. I think I maybe did.

I don't like reading

I don't like reading books. Sorry. I just dislike it alot.
I read so slow. It takes me months to read one book. (It took me a year to read the last Harry Potter) I just don't enjoy it. I look at words. I read the words. I forget what the words say. So I read the page again. Usually more than twice I read the same thing. Because I just can't focus, a book can not keep my attention! I would much much much rather watch a movie!! I get the same story in 2 hours instead of months. And I get actual people and movement and places and actions all in front of me. Not words. Ugh...I do not like books. I don't go to the library for books. I don't read for fun. I have to read when my English teacher makes the class read a book. And answer questions about the book. That is torture for me.
A lot of my friends love books. They'll have a different one every 3 days. How the hell can they read so fast??!! And why?
I own less than 10 big chapter non-kiddie books. (when I was younger I read little short ones so I don't count them now). And I like the ones I have. I love Harry Potter so much! But I hate how long it takes me to read them!! By the time I finish one I don't know how the book started! I also love the series with Uglies, Pretties, Specials, and Extras. I have all 4 but I've only read the first 3. I really want to read the last one for the story but not for reading. It would take up a lot of my time. And I would finish it months from now. So I still haven't gotten to reading it because I hate reading books.
I don't even know why I'm ranting about this now, I'm not reading any book....

When he first started, I didn't like him at all. I didn't like any of his songs. Especially "Beautiful Soul" OMG that song got on my nerves so much, I hated it! But I'm very happy my opinion changed because now I like his songs and I think he's very cute. :)
"Body Language" is really good. I love the lyrics!
I was sitting at lunch and my friends were talking about New Moon (eww) and one of my best friends rewrote the lyrics to this song and made them about Taylor Lautner ;). So I read her lyrics and I thought they were amazing. So when I got home I looked up the song. and I was happy because now I really like it. I always have a group of songs that I listen to over and over again everyday, and currently this song is one of them.

Lime green NYX shadow

Hey hey hey!
During Thanksgiving break, I got to go to ULTA!!! yay!!! I finally now own NYX makeup :) I didn't buy much though, I should've though....
I got a 3 shadow palette. The colors are Tropical/Yellow/Lime Green. Last week I used Lime Green. :) It's amazing. The color is so bright and smooth and long lasting and I really loved it. Now I can't wait to try the other colors. I really want more of these pallettes.

It's sunday

Hey
Today is sunday. I hate sundays because all day I dread going to school tomorow. I enjoy sleeping in on sunday. And that's about it. Sometimes my family wakes me up to eat lunch with them, because that's the only time my family eats together. But I'd rather sleep so sometimes I don't get up. But then once I am up, it just hits me: I have to go back to school tomorow.
And I usually do homework on sundays too. So yea. I hate sundays. :(

Silver and blue eye makeup look~

I think on Wednesday (maybe) I wore a shirt that I think is so cute. It's long sleeved and it's a dark navy blue. And in silver metallic writing it says, on the front "I'm single" and on the back "Call me" with an old school telephone. I think it's adorable. But people in my school did not. I got joked when I wore it last year but that was fine with me. This time I just got insulted. People called me desperate and that I was trying to announce that I'm single to everyone so someone would actually call me... No. I'm single. I want to be single. It's just a shirt. I'm not desperate. I don't want a boyfriend. It just annoyed me that people could't take it for what it really was: a shirt.
ANYWAY, sorry for that mini rant.

All I did was put a sparkly silver shadow on my lid, then gray liner under my lower lashes, and a swipe of dark blue shadow on my lid over my top lashes with an eyeliner brush. I put a cute little wing at the end.
I like this alot. It was sad at the end of the day when I had to take it off :(

I was listening to music on youtube on my ipod when I suddenly remembered The Click Five's song "Just the Girl" I'm happy it came across my mind becuase I've always really liked this song. But I didn't hear it much at all when it came out. So now I have it bookmarked on my youtube app and listen to it alot. :)
It's so good. I love the story of it. It's about a boy (it's in first person) so he likes a girl. Who isn't very nice. She's not really interested in him. She doesn't treat him well, and she's unattainable to him. But he still likes her! Aww...

It's December

Hey Hey Hey.
It's December. The last month of this very short year.
I'm just not happy about it. Time flies too fast for me, and I get really nostalgic. To think that the year is over, makes me sad. I am never happy on New Years Eve. Christmas is nice, but it's not my favorite. December is cold, and busy at school, and tiring. Honestly, I don't like it. December just always gets me down.
