Silver & Pink :)

Silver and pink go so well together. I love doing my eyeshadow with those colors. This time I put silver on the majority of the lid, and then a bit of pink on the very end. I absolutely loved it! I think it's super cute :)

Pulse Perfection mascara REVIEW!

I bought Maybelline's Pulse Perfection mascara on an impulse...but I really like it and I'm glad I bought it! I filmed a review about it so you should check it out :) I could just tell you about it here, but....I'm too lazy right now and plus watching is better than reading. Agreed? Agreed!

Angels & Demons

The sequel to The Da Vinci Code is Angels & Demons. In the book series, it's actually the first. But the movie was created after Da Vinci Code, so therefore, it is the sequel. I actually like Da Vinci Code better. This movie is good too, but I just think Da Vinci Code is way more interesting. I think it's definitely worth watching! But if you must only watch one, I say go with Da Vinci Code.
Alot of this movie didn't make sense to me. I love a good twist in a movie, but in this one it just left me wondering "why?".

I did like how it showed the Vatican. My teacher said that the info in this movie was accurate. So it was cool to see how the Pope is chosen and what they do. And their outfits! haha 

Overall, I think this movie is good. Just good. I'm not crazy about it.

Da Vinci Code

I recently watched The Da Vinci Code again. We talked about it in my Art History class, so I rented it from Blockbuster. We actually watched it in class but I was absent that first day they watched it. Then the next day when they watched the end, I went to sleep because I forgot how it ended and I didn't want to ruin the ending for myself. yay for sleeping in class!! :)
I really like this movie. I thought it was very interesting. I love mysteries, and this was a pretty cool one. I never read the book, so I don't know how it compares. But this movie is great if you ask me. The Holy Grail theory is actually very interesting! And the art and locations are beautiful! I definitely tell everyone to check out this movie if you haven't already!! I don't really want to get into it too much, because it's kinda a bit complicated plot, so just watch it for yourself!

I hate it when I can't find something

Blue & Gold

Gold on the inner half. Blue on the outer half. Black liquid liner.
I didn't like this too much just because I didn't blend it well enough..maybe next time it'll look better...

Purple & Gold

I really liked this. I just put on purple eyeshadow all over my lids. And then I wanted to make it a bit interesting so I put gold right in the middle. I know the picture is not so good, but you can see some of the gold shimmering there. :)

Tip in Life about Laptop Sticky Notes

The Sticky Notes app on laptops is fantastic! It's just a little box that looks like a sticky note and you can write whatever you want in there. You see it on your desktop, and it's there until you delete it. It's great, I have so many reminders and quotes on there! Very very useful!

This song is fantastic. My favorite Nelly song for sure! He is one of my favorite rappers, and I love this song so much. I think it's really beautiful. It's a sad love song with great lyrics. The melody is so pleasant and just flows so well. I imagine this song being played in a convertible car driving down a road alongside an ocean view with the sun shining.
I don't know what happened to the other side of his jacket in that picture...maybe in his dream he only had one sleeve?
I find the video confusing. I don't understand why the car is floating in the air...but hey we get to see Nelly so we really shouldn't complain! :)

It's just a day!

Hearing people complain about Valentine's Day is ridiculous. No, on facebook is worse. It's just a day people! I saw so many posts about people being alone on V-Day and how sad it is. Boo freaking hoo!! You're alone every day but it only bothers you on the 14th of February?? Pathetic. Grow up.

Cropping pictures is so important to me! I can go through every photo I take and crop it! I hate all the extra blank space around the subject. So I crop away!! :)

Hot Pink Lipstick makes me happy!

Sadly, this is the best picture I took that day. Yea....Well the lipstick is pretty! Hot pink lipstick just looks so fun and cheerful and happy! I don't wear it often, but I think I should. I just don't have time to put it on in my car before school. To make it look really good, you need liner, lipstick, sometimes gloss, and carefulness and patience. Haha it's simple, but just takes more than 10 seconds.

Monday Morning

So when I was in Slovakia last year, I kept hearing this song on the radio. And I loved it! But I didn't know anything about it. So of course later in life I forgot about it. And a few weeks ago it popped into my head. Just like that. So I typed in what I remembered from the lyrics into google. It took me a while to find it, seeing as I barely remembered any words, but in the end, my search was successful!

The song is called "Monday Morning" and it is by Melanie Fiona.

I've never heard of her before, but this song is great! Listen to it here  Somebody just uploaded it with pictures, thanks so much!

Silver Mercedes

NUMBER TEN
This is another Pure Ice polish. I really like this brand as you can tell by now. This color is Silver Mercedes and I think it's a gorgeous color. The silver looks really metallic and shines like crazy!! It's awesome. The polish itself was really thick and kinda lumpy, so I only put on one coat, but it was enough to get this great color!


So I have made it through 10 of my nail polishes! And it only took me 29 days. So that's 10 polishes in about a month! I stayed dedicated and did not wear any of them for more than 3 days :) I have 74 nail polishes, so I feel really good that I actually put some of them to good use! I'd like to go through all of them, that would be fun :) I don't know if I'd blog about that though. I mean, who really cares what nail polish I'm wearing? It's for myself really. Blogging about them would help me keep up with which ones I've already worn. But that would be alot alot of posts about just nail polishes. But I made it through 10! I'm definitely going for another 10.

What is up with the weather?

Why is it so cold in the United States of America this winter?!?! So much snow and ice and winter storms and all that extremely-not-fun stuff!! I HATE WINTER. I HATE COLD WEATHER. I want warm weather already. But it seems like we'll have to wait a long time. All over the country is so much bad winter weather :(  It needs to stop!!

Insta-Dri Espresso

NUMBER NINE
This is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nail polish in Espresso. I'm not really a big fan of the color. It's not pretty but it's not ugly. It's just...meh. The polish is great though. It dries super quick! And it has a flat brush so you don't need to swipe it on your nails many times to get the polish on. I really like this polish, the color not so much, but I do have this in another color so no worries! :)

Vanilla & Purple

I'm liking this vanilla color. It looks really pretty with a colorful shade right beside it. This time I used purple. I actually like this more than the light blue. But I don't think I used that same vanilla color, I think this one was actually light gold...not sure though. This is from quite some time ago, as you can see I was still blonde when I did this. So more than 2 weeks ago. I added a line of darker purple above my lashes on the outer half as well. You can see it if you look closely. I just love this look so much! :)

Vanilla & Light Blue

I didn't really know what to call the first color so I went with vanilla. It works? Well it's just that light neutral color. Then light blue on the outer half, dark blue liner on the water line. I thought it turned out really pretty! I should do it again soon..

Iced Copper

NUMBER EIGHT
This is a polish called Iced Copper by Love My Nails. It's one of the really cheap polishes in Walmart. The color is really pretty, it's a metallic bronze. Cool!

I hate it when I don't realize my makeup is dried out

So I'm in a rush because I overslept. I put on some makeup, but I don't have time to do my eyeliner and mascara. The two most important eye makeup products. So I put a mascara and a liquid eyeliner in my makeup bag and leave. I get to school, and I have time to finish my makeup. I go to put on my liquid liner and it's completely dry. After I do one eye. So one eye has ugly looking liner and the other has none because it was completely dry. I mean, the liquid liner was a solid. So I try to wipe off that one eye's liner but seeing as I don't have makeup remover or a tissue it was difficult. Then I go to put on my mascara. Just to discover it's dry and empty. I can barely get any on my lashes, and I like to put on a lot of mascara!! It flakes all over my cheeks because it was dry. I had no other mascara or liquid liner in my makeup bag. So that's what I had to use. My makeup looked horrible today. =(

Brunette.

I am a brunette. My friend Treasure dyed my hair for me. I bought a box dye from CVS and Walgreens (CVS only had one left, and it was on sale too!). I got the Natural Instincts dye from Clairol. The color is Navajo Bronze, light caramel brown. We left it on for 17 minutes so it would be darker.
I'm sad that I'm not blonde anymore, but I do like this color. It is a semi-permanent dye so it will wash out. I've had it for a week now, and it's getting lighter. Which makes me sad because now I just want dark hair. In 4 weeks, I'm going to dye it again, but I'm going to try a different brand.
So, yea. I'm a brunette. It's been a long time since I've seen myself with brown hair. It was hard to get used to at first. But I did this for the health of my hair, so I think it's worth it =)
