My new green nail polish :)

So I've been reading so many blogs since I started mine. I've noticed that many beauty bloggers like nail polish by Sinful Colors. I've always seen them in Walgreens but I never bought one. Last week I went , and I bought one yay! I bought the color Show Me The Way. It's a pretty dark green in the bottle. I had to use 3 coats on my nails to get it to look like that. But I was really happy with it. I'm going to go buy some more next week :).

Yesterday I was reading my Glamour magazine with Gwen Stefani on the cover. It's the October issue, I think...I'm not sure. I don't feel like going to get it from my room... Anyway, I was so happy that on the cover, she is not wearing red lipstick. I know that's her signature look, and she's so beautiful, but I was happy to see her with something different. If you haven't seen it, she was wearing a pink lipstick. I do not have a favorite lip color, I like all of them. So I'm not saying that I don't like her red lip color, because I do like it. I just really liked it that she was wearing something new and different. :)
I love Gwen Stefani! I still listen to Hollaback Girl. Seriously, that song is freaking awesome.

I went to Walmart for a Halloween costume and....

Me and one of my besties went to Walmart yesterday to look at their Halloween costumes. My town is little, and we have Walmart. So my friend and I went together because we thought it would be fun to try on costumes together and maybe even get matching costumes. So we're in walmart. We see cute costumes. We picked up a bumblee costume and a ladybug costume and go to the try on place. And we couldn't try them on. We were told that we can buy them and try them on at home and return them if they don't fit. We took the costumes back and put them on their hanger things and went to the makeup section.
I think it's stupid that we couldn't try them on. I was really pissed. But I really really really want an actual costume this year!! For the past 2 years I had devil horns, and red shirt, and a black skirt. And I was a devil. That was my costume. This year I want an actual costume.
I don't know if I should just buy one and then try it on at home. I don't have anywhere else to get a costume. I've seen such CUTE ones on the internet, but I can't order any online. :(
I'm so sad becuase I really really really want a costume!!!

I absolutely love the song Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin. It is so so so very good! I saw the video one day, but then I forgot about it. Then a few weeks later, I was in the car with my brother. And the song came on. And it was so familiar to me, but I couldn't remember what it was. So I asked my brother, and he told me it was Diary of Jane. So when I got home, I looked it up, and I have been listening to it so many times since then. I really love it. It's a reallly awesome rock song. I'm listening to it right now. And you should be too.

♚Rimmel Glam Eyes Flirt Mascara

Hey Hey Hey!
Mascara is my favorite eye makeup! Almost everytime I need to buy a new one, I buy one I've never had. So I think I've tried many different ones. Usually, I get Maybelline. I just love their mascaras.
The one I'm currently using is Rimmel's Glam Eyes Flirt. It was the first Rimmel mascara that I have bought, and ...I was disappointed. :(

Pros: The brush is awesome! Two sides have short plastic bristles, then the other two have longer, spaced out bristles. I use the short first, then the long to separate and define my lashes. It works and looks pretty.
Cons: It's messy. That is the main thing I hate in a mascara. It gets on my skin, and then it doesn't want to come off. I usually just use a q-tip when I get mascara on my skin, but with this one it just smears and gets worse unless I put makeup remover on the q-tip. Which then messes up my other makeup. Also, it flakes during the day. So more mascara on my skin. :(

So overall, I don’t like it. I love love the brush, but I don’t think it’s worth it if it’s messy. Messiness is the deal breaker in mascaras for me.

Midnight Fantasy

I'm a big fan of Britney Spears. I really love love love her perfumes. They are super amazing!! This week I've been wearing Midnight Fantasy. It smells so beautiful! It's sweet, and one of my magazines once said it smells like candied fruit (I think....it was a long time ago). It's such a great perfume. For Christmas last year, my mom bought me a set of 4 Britney Spears's perfumes. They're little but it's enough since I have so many different ones.
Now, everytime I wear this perfume, I am reminded of my Desktop Publishing class. That was my first class of the day the semester after Christmas. This perfume is probably the strongest of the four so I smelled it the whole class and I absolutely loved it. I loved that class. :)

Revlon Matte Shadow

Hey Hey Hey!
It really annoys me when I buy an eye shadow that looks matte, but then it's not. I put it on and then it's really sparkly, but that's not what I wanted at that moment. So I'm really happy that Revlon came out with their Revlon Matte line. So far, I've only tried their shadows. But I really want to try their matte lipsticks and blushes. I bought 2 Matte shadows in Walmart for about $4. I bought Luscious Lime and Riviera Blue. I like these shadows :)

Pros: They are matte! :) Also, they last pretty long. I don't even wear primer with the blue one. Also I like that they are smooth.
Cons: The colors look different on my skin. The lime one was a very pale light green and the blue one was a bark blueish grayish color...

So overall, I really like these shadows. :D Even though they aren't the colors I thought they were, they are still very good. I am definetely going to buy some more. It'll be a fun surprise to see what color they look like on me.

Gold polish :)

So the polish I am currently wearing on my nails is a very pretty gold color. It's by a brand called Pure Ice and the color is called Jaguar. I bought this polish is Walmart for $2.50. I like this brand because their colors are so pretty. I always have trouble picking which one I want to buy. And the bottle is so cute.
I really love this color. It's metallic and slighty sparkly. So pretty!

Perfume :)

So another thing I'm obsessed with is perfume! I always wear it. Everywhere I go. Usually, I just pick up a random one in the morning. But what I decided to do was to wear just one for a week, and then another one the next week, then a different one the week after that, and so on. So I will blog about my perfume for the week :) I think it's a pretty good idea...?

Petites Mango Nail Polish

Isn't nail polish one of the greatest things ever?!?!
I have alot of nail polishes and I paint my nails once every 1-2 weeks. So I decided to post pictures of my favorite pretty colors! :)
This one is by a brand called Petites and the color is called Mango. I bought it in Walmart for $2. I really like this brand because the polishes are small(er) sized and the colors are so pretty and they are cheap. Since I have so many polishes, I don't like wasting money on polishes that I use 3 times and then they're dried out :(. So these Petites are good because they are little so I don't have to worry about wasting a few dollars (that add up since I buy so much).
This one is a gorgeous orange color! I love it!!

So today I got the new issue of Seventeen which reminded me of the current issue of Teen Vogue. Taylor Lautner is on the cover! I was so happy when I saw that because he is one of my favorite celebrity crushes. ♥♥ 

When I saw Twilight, I did not like it at all. I've never read the book, but all my friends say that the book was better. There was only one thing I did like about the movie: Jacob Black. Even though I'm not a Twilight fan, I think I can definetly say I'm on Team Jacob. I am going to see New Moon just for him. Anyways, back to the magazine. I don't really remember the article about him, I read it a while ago. But that was the only thing I liked in the October issue. It's not my favorite magazine...haha I'm so happy he's on the cover

I like Thursdays

Today is thursday. I like thursdays. Because that means tomorow is friday. And I really like fridays. Because that means tomorow is saturday. I love saturdays!
Today I woke up and I was glad it was thursday. Of course it's not as good as saturday, but it's close to the weekend. So I like thursdays :) Every thursday I think "Just one more day and it's the weekend". And that makes my day alot better. So when saturday does come, I am so happy it's saturday. :)

I miss naptime

So this is kinda random. I am always so so tired. I love sleeping. During the week I never get enough sleep. This morning when I woke up, it was really hard to get out of bed. The only thing that kept me going during the day was my plan to take a nap right when I get home. So my mom picked me up from school because I don't have my own car (I'm an upperclassman, I'm ashamed) And my mom tells me I have to go to her work and then we'll go to Walmart. But I tell her I desperately need a nap. So she takes me home. I got home and I eat a snack. Then I get in my bed and set an alarm for 5 45. I sleep. My mom wakes me up asking if I got enough rest and if I want to go to the store. I just shake my head and she says that she will come back at 6 so we can go shopping then. I don't think I heard my alarm, even though it was on my phone right beside my pillow. Later I wake up, by myself, and it's 8. I go to the kitchen and my mom tells me she decided to take a nap untill 6 but she also overslept. But I am so happy that I got sleep. I really need to take more naps because I just can't get enough sleep during the week. On the weekend, I usually sleep as long as I can. Sundays are my sleep days, I can sleep all day. My record is 16 hours.
I thought it was a funny story...so I blogged about it. :)

So the song I have stuck in my head today is "Heads Will Roll" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
The first time I heard it, I was at one of my best friend's house. The video came on tv and she said she loved the song so we listened to it. I didn't really like it then. But I heard it yesterday on a commercial so I looked it up and listened to it again. I liked it alot more. So today, it is stuck in my head. I've been singing it all day at school. I got on my own nerves :P. So I got home and listened to it again. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. It's a rock song, maybe even electronic. A little bit. I don't know what it's about...maybe dancing? I've never heard of the band before, this is their only song I know. But it's good, so check it out. :)

2009 VMA's

Hey Hey Hey!
I love awards shows. They're great. My favorite are definetly MTV's movie awards and video music awards. The 2009 VMAs were yesterday. I watched it on tv and I enjoyed it so much!
I was pretty happy with the winners, alot of the people I wanted to win did win, so I was happy about that. There were 2 or 3 I disagreed with. I was so happy Green Day and Lady Gaga and Britney Spears and Beyonce won! Even though I wanted Pussycat Dolls to win best dance.
I didn't want Taylor Swift to win best female video becuase I'm not a fan of hers. But what Kanye West did was so wrong! OMG. I felt soooooo bad for Taylor! Especially because she was saying that she always dreamed of winning a MoonMan and thanked the voters for giving her a chance. And then Kanye takes the mic from her and says "Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time". And then Taylor just stood there. If it was me, I would not have handled it well. MTV would have to censor out some things I would have said. What he did was terrible. But I loved how Beyonce let her come on stage and have her moment.
I loved the performances. Lady Gaga was amazing! Great performance, I love that song! And the blood all over her and her hanging in the air! OMG wow! Pink's performance was really amazing too. She was doing acrobatic stuff in the air. Very creative. She's got some skill. I was so happy she sang "Sober" because I love that song so much! Janet Jackson's tribute to Michael was also great. I'm so glad she did that for him. I also liked Katy Perry's performance even though she didn't sing her own song. And Green Day omg I love Green Day! I haven't heard that song before, I don't know what it is. But I really liked their perfomance. It was so cool how they got so many audience members on the stage! Haha.
Another thing I liked was Taylor Lautner and Shakira presenting an award together. They're gorgeous! And I loved how her song is "She Wolf" and he plays a werewolf in Twilight, so they both have a wolf thing going on. I like wolves. :)
So overall, I thought this year's VMAs were awesome!

My computer :(

Hey Hey Hey
I don't have my own computer, so I use the one that is for my whole family. Even though my brother has a laptop and my parents use their laptops for work. Anyway, the computer I use is a Mac and it's pretty old. Like 8 years maybe. It's the one with the screen attached to the half-sphere monitor. It looks cute. But it's pretty sucky. It doesn't have flash or firefox or other good stuff. So alot of stuff does not work on it. Some websites crash safari, some have a blank screen, some say I need to download something to view the site, blah blah blah. It has problems. Here on blogspot, the dashboard crashes safari. And it won't let me use colored fonts or different sizes or whatever else there is above the box where you write your post. Also, some pictures show up as a blue box with a question mark.
So unless I can get to a better computer, I have to deal with these stupid problems. :( Which makes me mad.

So I was listening to my Pandora Internet Radio on my iPod when this song "Killa" by Cherish came on. I immediately fell in love with it. And now I can't stop listening to it. It's really really good. It's a hip hop song from the movie Step Up 2 The Streets. I haven't seen the movie. It came out last year, so the song isn't recent. But if you haven't heard it yet, go listen to it!! I promise it's really good. It has someone else rapping in it, but I forgot who. The song is about how this girl knows this boy is a player and heartbreaker but she still wants him very much.

I love the Fast and Furious movies!!

Hey Hey Hey!

So I FINALLY got to see the fourth Fast and Furious movie. I love love love love love love the Fast and Furious movies!! Omg they are freaking awesome! I love the super hot cars, and the super hot Paul Walker. ♥♥
When this movie came into theaters, of course I was super excited. So one friday/saturday, I go to the movie theater. I am so happy to see Fast and Furious. I walk up to my group of friends who apparantely didn't share my love of watching fast cars racing :(. They all wanted to see Knowing. So we saw Knowing. I hated that movie. I wanted to see Fast and Furious. I was pissed.
So then the movie comes out on DVD. Finally I get my dad to rent it for me on sunday. I didn't have time to watch it untill wednesday. So I watched it wednesday. I loved it. So so much.
It is so awesome. I love everything about it. The cars are so hott!! Omg! There's a scene where 4 cars blow up. And I was like "Noooo!!!!" Those cars were way too gorgeous to blow up. But it was still a really cool scene. My favorite car in the movie is a yellow Mustang with black stripes. I'm not sure which year it is, but it's one of the new recent ones. I love Mustangs, so much. I was so happy there was one in this movie. ☺ It was so beautiful. And so were the other cars. Paul Walker's character, Brian, drives his Nissan Skyline, of course. He also drives something else which I don't know the name of. Vin Diesel's character, Dom, drives an old Dodge Charger. And some other cars which I don't know the names of either. Those 3 are the only ones I recognized. There's a lot of cars, I don't know all of them.
I also really like the cast. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are awesome. And the girl main characters were pretty.
I really like the plot. I like how Dom is out to get a guy because his girlfriend died because of working for him, and Brian is out to get the same guy to bust him for transporting drugs across the border. So I just thought it was really interesting that they both want the same guy for their own 2 reasons.
And also, of course, I love the car race scenes! They're so exciting. I love it. There were some major crashes in this one. They were amazing.
Also, the songs in the movie are great. They make me want to dance :) . My favorite song from the movie is "Blanco" by Pitbull and Pharell Williams. It's a spanish and english rap/hip hop song. I like it alot.
So in this movie, you get good-looking people and good-looking cars. What's better than that?

Palladio Eye Liner

Hey Hey Hey!
I love eyeliners! I have so many colors. And unintentionally I have more green liners than any other color. I was in Sally's Beauty Supply one day while my dad was in Lowe's. (makeup totally beats home improvement). So I was looking at the makeup, and I decided to buy some eyeliner. I've never had a pencil liner from Palladio, so I decided to try it. So I picked a color. Why green? I don't even know. But I bought it, I don't remember the price (it was cheap)...this was maybe 3 weeks ago.... Anyway, I have mixed feelings with this liner.

Pros: I love the color!! The shade is called Dark Green. makes sense, right? It's soooo pretty
Cons: I hate the texture. It's hard. Not soft at all. It was a little difficult to put it on my eyes since it was so stiff. That's why I only put it on my bottom lashes.

So overall, I only like the color. If stiff liners don't bother you, then definetly buy it. But if you hate stiffness, then do not buy it. Find another liner in a similar color. I will keep using this liner because I think the color is gorgeous. But I will suffer while I put it on :(

09-09-09

So today's date is 09-09-09! I think that it is super awesome! haha. 9-9-9.
I love these days where the date is the same number. I don't really know why I like it so much.... :). I remember the very first one. 01-01-01. I was sooo amazed! So every year since then I've gotten really excited about it :D
I just can't believe it's September already. Woah time flies by fast. And we only have 3 days left where the date is the same number. So we have to enjoy them while they last! After that, it will be in the next century.
So I don't know if other people love this as much as I do....But I really enjoy it so I wanted to blog about it hehe.

Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation

My first makeup review yay :)
First of all, I always wear face makeup on my face (haha does that make sense?). I put on foundation where I need it, concealer where I need it, and then powder all over. My skin is very oily :( so I really need a good foundation. I heard about Rimmel London's Stay Matte foundation, and I thought that I could maybe try it. Then I saw it in Glamour magazine in a story/article/whatever about foundations. So I thought, well then it must be good, I trust Glamour. So I went to Walmart and bought it for around 6 dollars. And now I've been using it for over a month. So here is what I think of it.

Pros: It's light and thin. Also, it's very liquidy. I hate really thick foundations, so I was happy this one is liquidy.
Cons: It doesn't blend well. Since I don't put foundation all over my face, it's important for my foundations to blend into my skin, and to blend with my powder. This foundation doesn't do that. And it does not keep my face matte. Not at all. Also, the coverage isn't good. It doesn't cover up any of my blemishes. It has salicylic acid to help clear up skin, but I don't know if it does or doesn't because I started using new face products so that's been clearing up my skin slowly. I can't tell if this foundation helps or not. Also, I bought the lightest shade, and it's too dark for my face :(.

So overall, I don't like this foundation :( I was really dissapointed. But it might work for you, if your skin is not as oily as mine and darker than mine. But you'll have to find that out on your own. Since it's only 6 dollars, you can try it if you want. But if you ask me, I say buy something else with those 6 dollars.

Why can't I post pictures??

I'm not happy at all right now. Today I was going to post my first make up review. Finally something interesting!! So I put the pictures on the computer, I cropped them and saved them as new photos. Then I write my review on here. Then I try to add the pictures. And the little box told me there was an error uploading. It told me that my pictures are either corrupt, or in a unrecognized format. I tried every format it told me I could use. I don't know what it means by corrupt. I've tried different picutres too. The computer I use is old, and doesn't have flash or firefox or other new good stuff. So maybe it's the computer? Or my pictures from my stupid camera? Maybe the browser? Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Or the site is doing something wrong? I do not know. I am angry that it's not working.
So hopefully I figure out how to post pictures, or find another way to post them. So that I can finally post interesting stuff!!

I saw Final Destination :)

Hey Hey Hey!
I love movies! I really like going to the movie theater. Yesterday, I went to see Final Destination in 3D. I love the Final Destination movies :) I've been waiting for the 4th one since it was in pre-production. When I saw the trailers on tv and found out it was in 3D, I got really excited! It was the first 3D movie I've seen in my town's movie theater so I was really happy about that. Even though the 3D really hurt my eyes at first :( I had to keep looking over the glasses because it hurt...but after about 20 minutes (maybe) my eyes got used to it and I was fine. My favorite part of the movie was when the main characters were at the race, and the race cars came towards the camera. It was super awesome in 3D because the cars were coming right at me haha! The movie was really short :( It was an hour and twenty-one minutes. But it was in 3D so that made it awesome. Even though it was too short. I think the movie was good. In my opinion, it's not the best in the series. But it was 3D! Also, the two main boy characters were cute :). Some parts were graphic, and I have to admit, I had to look away. I think if maybe it wasn't right in my face, I could handle it. (I've seen alot of scary movies). I jumped a few times, too. When objects were flying towards me. Haha. So overall, I had a really good time watching this movie. 3D was awesome after my eyes stopped hurting. I think the movie was good but it was too short. So I recommend it to people who like the Final Destination movies. Even though if you've seen all of them, you know how it will end. But it's 3D, so you should still see it. But if you don't like thriller/horror/suspense movies, then I don't recommend it to you, because you'd think it's really gross.

I don't like my camera :(

Today, I was going to do my first makeup review. So I've been trying to take pictures of products. But it is really annoying and frustrating because my camera is not that great. When I got it 3 years ago, it was expensive and had good megapixels. But now, cameras have twice the megapixels and are HD. So mine isn't considered great anymore. :(
The pictures of items have not come out well...at all. Some are too blury, some are overexposed, some are too dark, some are way out of focus, and it sucks. My camera has many different settings so I've been trying to find one that would work well on close ups of objects. Since I want to take pictures of makeup, the lighting is very important so that the picture is very close to the color of the makeup.
Today, I took so many pictures (I should have counted) to get just one good picture. Which, isn't even that good.
So I'm apologizing ahead of time for any bad pictures that I'll have to post. Hopefully most of them will be good. But if there are any bad ones, I'm sorry. :(

I am obsessed with makeup, and I love it :). I love looking at it, buying it, putting it on, and wearing it. I think makeup is so amazing. It really makes a difference. And it's so much fun!!
I buy makeup alot. I buy mine at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Kroger, and Sally's Beauty Supply. I also order from AVON. And I used to, but haven't in a long time, ordered from Mary Kay. I also love going to Sephora, but the closest one is hours away and I don't have enough cash to buy anything there anyway :(. I'm really excited that a mall 2 hours away is getting an Ulta store. I've never been to Ulta, so I can't wait until they open so I can go see what they have. I don't have a favorite brand because I use alot of different ones.
Everytime I'm in Walmart, I head straight for the makeup section. And I usually buy at least one thing. In CVS, I love my little CVS card <3. Sometimes I'll get something free or half off with a purchase. Yayness! I really need to get a Sally's card. Hopefully I will do that next time I go there. One of my best friend's grandmother sells AVON, and I ask for catalogs and order a couple makeup items. About 3 days ago, I told her she can just go ahead and give me a catalog whenever they come out with a new one, so I don't have to keep asking for them. :P My mom has a Kroger's card, so everytime I'm there with her I pick up something and get a discount on it (I know that's a random grocery store to buy makeup at haha)
So very soon, I will write reviews on products and talk about my faves. Also, I want to do makeup looks. Hopefully I'll be able to post pictures, and write what products I used and how. I'm thinking about maybe doing makeovers...? Maybe doing my friends' makeup and then posting the before and after photos. I think that would be cute and fun.

I always have a song stuck in my head

Hey Hey Hey!
I love listening to music. I listen to my iPod almost the whole time I'm at home. I listen to internet radio before I fall asleep, and I watch music videos on tv when I'm getting ready in the mornings. So of course, songs always get stuck in my head! When it's a good song, I don't mind at all. Then for the rest of the day (sometimes it's more than a day) I keep singing the song over and over again. Problem: I can't sing. I do not have singing talent. I wish I did, I really wish I could sing well. But.....I just don't. I'm not completely horrible, just bad.
So the song stuck in my head today is Jay Z and Rihanna "Run This Town". It is amazing! I love it so much. It is a rap song, and Rihanna sings in it. If you haven't heard it and are a fan of rap music, go look it up now! The video came on the tv in the morning, but I didn't pay attention to the video (I was busy getting ready for school) So I don't know if the video is good or not. But the song is so good. I like it ALOT. I'm not sure what it's about...I've only heard it about 3 times, so I don't know all the lyrics. Bu what I do know, I've been singing for the past 3 days. It sounds so bad when I sing it. :( So recently I've just been singing it in my head. Hopefully I'll see the video again soon so I can pay attention to it. And of course so I can listen to it, because I think it's a great song!! :)

Hey Hey Hey!
So this blog is totally boring as of right now. But soon I will start blogging about actual topics...not just me saying "hi!"
I don't know what exactly those topics will be yet....Probably just me talking about whatever I'm doing. I'm such a girly girl, I know I will talk about make up and nail polish and clothes and all that stuff. Also, I tend to complain, so I will definetly be writing rants. Also I love movies and music, so I'll probably talk about the latest songs or movies I go see.
Well I just wanted to say what this blog will most likely be about. Hopefully I can get some good blogs started so people can read my blog and like it :)

My name is Diana. I was born in Slovakia. I am a teenager in high school. I am friendly, honest, and talkative. I love fashion & makeup, watching movies, hanging out with friends, drinking coffee, lazy days, and traveling. I love summer, even though I was born in the winter. I'm a Capricorn. I'm also a princess. (Princess Diana...get it? Even though my name is pronounced Dee-anna)
