Bleah...How I spent my Friday
Hey hey hey
So today I didn't go to school. Now before you accuse me of skipping like my brother did, please know that I only miss school when I have to. Shocking, I know. I really hate that place...
I woke up in the morning. At the very instant that I woke up I felt so nauseous. I went to the bathroom expecting to be very sick. But I didn't. I go to the kitchen and I told my mom how I was feeling so she told me to go back to bed. I got a brown paper bag and put it beside my bed and went to sleep. An hour later she wakes me up and asks if I want to go to the doctor. I say no of course, I hate going to the doctor. So then she went to work and I slept for many hours. Around lunch time she calls me to tell me that there is some pizza in the fridge I can eat. But I tell her I don't want to eat anything. I go back to sleep. About 2 hours later I wake up. I'm bored so I watch YouTube. Then me and my brother's friend comes over. I stay in my room until he comes to my door asking if I will say hi to him or ignore him. I say hi through the door and tell him to leave me alone. He comes into my room to get me out of my bed. This angers me. I like my bed. I want to stay in the bed. So I hide under my blanket. My brother comes in saying how I think I'm ugly without my makeup on. So then his friend wants to see what I really look like. After a struggle, they get my blanket from me. Luckily, he said I'm not ugly.

Too bright!!
Hey Hey Hey
So today at school, in my last class of the day, the window right behind me was open and the blinds were open and up. So the sun shone onto my papers and book and my whole work area of my desk. I hate the sun. It was so bright right on my desk. And I had to look at it!! It hurt my eyes so badly and gave me a headache. My pupils on my eyes are pretty big. I don't know why. They just take up too much space. So everything is always too bright for me. Like my iPod for example, which is on the lowest brightest setting and at night it's still too bright for me. So I had to suffer that whole class period. Well I still have that headache :( I have horrible vision and wear contacts. Next time I go to the eye doctor, maybe I should complain about all the brightness....

Christina looks good with blue hair..
Hey hey hey! So I saw this picture when I was looking for the cover of the Keeps Getting Better: Decade of Hits CD, and right when I saw it, I was like OMG I need to blog about this!!
In the music video for "Keeps Getting Better" there's a part where she has a blue wig on. And I thought she looked really good with blue hair. I thought it was super awesome!! This picture looks silly, but if you watch the video, you'll see it.
Last time I watched it was quite a while ago...I'm happy I saw this picture today.

Maybelline Great Lash mascara
Hey Hey Hey!
So if you know anything about makeup, you know about Maybelline's Great Lash mascara. A lot of people like this mascara. I see it in magazines and blogs alot. I've read about how much professional makeup artists and celebrities just love love love this mascara.
Now I love Maybelline. I think they have great makeup.
However, I think this mascara sucks. SUCKS. It was probably the worst mascara I've ever used. I tried to give it a chance, but everytime I used it I just wanted to destroy it. It was clumpy, messy, gooey, smelly, just gross and unmanageable and it got everywhere on my eyes!! I do not see how so many people love this mascara! In my opinion it sucks terribly and I do not recommend to ANYONE. It's horrendous.
Maybelline has great mascaras, but this is not one of them.
If you want a great Maybelline mascara, check these out:
-Lash Stiletto
-XXL Extensions
-Sky High Curves
-Define-A-Lash
-Pulse Perfection (so I've heard, I have yet to try it myself)

98¢ NYC Lipstick!
Hey Hey Hey!
I was in Walmart. And I had no cash on me. :(. So when my mom dropped me off in the makeup section, she said she would lend me $10. And no more than $10! I was so happy because she doesn't lend me money often. Not at all. So I'm looking at the makeup and the nail polishes, and since I could only get $10 worth of stuff, I had to pick wisely. So I looked at the NYC section because I knew their products are very cheap. I saw their lipsticks for $0.98. So I decided to get one. I don't remember what else I got, but I was so proud of myself because I didn't even go up to $10!! I expected it to be difficult to not go over 10 hehe. Anyways, so I got one NYC lipstick. I bought Cafe. And I was so happy with it. It wasn't amazingly great of course, but it was alot better than I thought it would be. It's good for its price.
Pros: The color is very pretty. Also creamy :) And it lasts a good amount of time (I don't like my lip products to be too long-lasting)
Cons: It has a weird smell and the packaging is not pretty. But hey, it's 98¢.
Cafe:
I know it's a little bit messed up on my right bottom lip... :( just ignore that part. And focus on the pretty color!

Hey Hey Hey
I have "What Katie Said" by The Matches stuck in my head. It's a great song. I love how catchy it is. So of course I'm going to blog about it. The first time I heard it was when I looked up music videos by The Matches because I wanted to see what the band looked like. My friend let me borrow one of their CDs but this song isn't on it. I think the video is kinda strange but a good idea. It has a girl dancing, but instead of her head is a TV. And on the TV screen is the lead singer's face. Singing of course. Then behind her are 3 more TVs with the other members on it. I think the video is strange because of the girl's choreographed dance moves. I thought some of them looked weird. But that's just my opinion. The ending part of the video is great! Go watch the video!! The song is really great. <3

I Love Adam Lambert <3

I am so happy I finally got Adam Lambert's CD!! :D OMG!
My friend Izzy bought it for me for my birthday! I love her :)
The CD is so great! There is not one song I do not like. It really is a great album. Definitely one of my favorite CDs I own. I just want to listen to it over and over and over again. Adam Lambert is one of my favorite singers, and I love his album. He's definitely here for our entertainment, and I'm entertained. :)

French Tips. It's black instead of white!! pretty cool :)
The black polish is from Maybelline. The nude color is from WetnWild, I have 2 shades from them that are very similar so I don't know which one is the one that I used. It sucked majorly so it doesn't matter anyway.

Ke$ha

So I discovered new music thanks to Lindsey, who let me borrow Ke$ha's CD :)
I always blog about one song at a time, so I picked my favorite from her CD Animal to talk about.
So my favorite song which I absolutely LOVE on this cd is "Take It Off". It's a fun song that I totally see being played in a nightclub. It's about clubbing so it fits! Oh and it's also about taking something off. Hmm I wonder what..haha!

XIV Nail Art
Hey Hey Hey!
So since it was my birthday on the 14th, and 14 is my favorite number, and I love Roman numerals, I thought it was a perfect idea to paint XIV onto my nails. :)
The green is a tiny polish from Sally's beauty supply. The one I got didn't have a sticker on the bottom so I don't know what the shade is named. Then the white polish is from Petites, and it's called French White.
It took me forever to do this!! Okay, well not forever, just only a little over 2 hours. But the majority of the time was spent removing my previous polish which was black so it was really difficult to get it all off. Then I had to manicure my nails becasue they were in horrible shape. Then I painted my nails green. The green polish dried super fast! I could paint a nail green and then go ahead and do the numeral with the white. I had to start over so many times because I kept messing up the numeral and it just looked bad. So after I don't know how many tries, I was finally satisifed with the numerals.
A few people at school didn't understand why I had XIV on my nails. 2 girls said I should have put 17 instead of 14, but I think 14 fit better.

I'm 17 years old
Hey Hey Hey!
Yesterday was my birthday :D And it was great! At school, so many people told me happy birthday and I got $11! I don't know if everyone does this, or if it's just my school, but when it's someone's birthday people give them dollars and they attach it to their shirt with a safety pin. I was so happy I got $11. I wasn't expecting that much haha. Then I came home and my brother gave me an adorable necklace with a penguin pendant. It's the outline of a penguin and has a few black stones on the side. I love penguins so much! Then my parents gave me a $100 bill! Yea, I got a Benjamin Franklin. Tomorrow we will go to the mall, and I get to spend it. :) Anyway, back to yesterday, in the evening my family and I went to eat at Applebee's, which is my favorite restaurant. And I got a lot of wall posts on Facebook saying happy birthday. Yesterday, I loved looking at the date. January 14. It's my favorite day of the year. Oh and also, I share a birthday with LL Cool J. How awesome is that?!

School Uniforms Suck
Hey Hey Hey!
So yesterday, the school board voted on whether my school district should get school uniforms.
This highly upsets me.
I DO NOT want uniforms.
I think uniforms are very stupid, and completely pointless. The "reason" for why the school board wants uniforms is for safety. What? How is this safe? How would clothes make us safer?? WTF?? WTF??!!
And they wouldn't be actual traditional uniforms either. The list of our "uniforms" is just saying specifically what to wear. What kinds of clothing items, and what color.
Our school colors are black and gold. So of course those are the colors they want us to wear.
If it's voted to get uniforms, I'm going emo. All black outfits.
Uniforms would take away students' individuality. We wouldn't be able to express ourselves through clothing anymore. And everyone would look the same.
Parents would have to spend even more money on buying their kids a new wardrobe that agrees with the uniform dress code.
I think the dress code we already have is completely ridiculous.
For a few years now, the school board has wanted uniforms, but it's never been agreed on. Last year, we got scared that we would get them. A survey was taken by parents and the results were 50 - 50. So no uniforms. But now, the school board is deciding.
I hope we find out soon what the vote ended up to be. I hope we don't get uniforms. There will be a serious problem between the school, students, and parents if we do.

Sienna Miller as a Brunette

So yesterday I posted about the movie G.I. Joe. I said I liked Sienna Miller's dark hair. Well I want to talk about it some more because I really LOVE it.

Isn't her hair gorgeous?? She's so pretty as a brunette.
It's really dark, but not yet completely black, I don't think.
Sienna always has blonde hair, this is the first time I've seen her have a different hair color. I think she should have dark hair now!

G.I. Joe
Hey Hey Hey!
I went to a friend's house and we watched the movie G.I. Joe. I really liked it! It was very confusing and didn't make much sense to me, but all the action was really cool! I loved the cast and characters. I especially loved Sienna Miller's dark hair. I think this movie is really good and I recommend it to EVERYONE. If you love action movies, you'll love this movie. If you don't love action movies, you'll still like this movie. So next time you're in a movie rental place, rent it!

"snow" day
Hey Hey Hey
So on Wednesday, I kept hearing "we might not have school tomorrow" "school is going to be canceled" "yay No school" and statements of that sort. People thought that school would be canceled because it was going to snow. I live in a place that doesn't get snow. So I thought, Yea right, that's stupid that people are getting excited because it's ridiculous. It's not going to snow.
Well the next day, Thursday, yesterday, I wake up in the morning and I grab my iPod and get on Facebook. Everyone's status said we didn't have school. I was surprised but I rolled over and went back to sleep. I continued to sleep until 3 pm. I asked my brother how the weather was and he said it didn't even snow. DUH!!
So then today, Friday, we all go to school. The temperature was freezing, there was alot of ice that wasn't melting, and it even snowed a tiny bit for maybe 5 minutes.
Our "Snow day" on Thursday was a joke. Today should have been the snow day. Good job, school district.

If I really could time travel, I would go decade-hopping. And spend at least 1 day in every decade. I don't know how many days that would take, so I wouldn't start way too far back.

Perfect Day
Hey hey hey
I am a firm believer in the idea that techno is the best music ever. :)
Cascada is amazing. I love every single one of her songs. One that I picked to blog about (not because I think it's the best, or my favorite, but because Pandora plays it for me often) is "Perfect Day". It is from her 2nd CD. It's a great song of course. And it has great lyrics and a great message.
Also, isn't she just gorgeous on that CD cover??

The O.C.
Hey Hey Hey!
So since I have nothing to do this Christmas break, I reunited myself with a favorite tv show. The O.C. Yes, I love it. I'm in love with this show. I've been watching it on hulu.com. I'm almost done with the 1st season. But hulu.com posts a new episode every week. So I have to wait :( or I can buy the 1st season on dvd. I already have the 2nd season, but I'm not going to watch any episodes until I finish the 1st season.
I love this show, I love the characters, I love the gorgeous Orange County (in the show, I've never been there), I love everything about the show.

I've been jamming to the Backstreet Boys lately. I recently bought their selftitled album from the 90s, and it is so great. I love 90s boy bands <3
I know they released an album this previous October. But I haven't heard any songs from it. I only have that 1 first album, and then 2 songs from Millenium, and 1 from Never Gone. So I'm missing alot of their music :( I need to get the rest of their music. But it's all good because I'm happy that I have their songs that I do have, and I am listening to them like crazy!!

It's 2010
Hey Hey Hey
Well it's 2010. wow. I can't believe it. The decade was so short to me. Time flies!!! Way too fast. I'm too nostalgic...
I don't have any New Years Resolutions, because I make them, then I forget them. But I do have goals for this year. I'm not going to talk about them now though.
I hope that this year will be good. I will try to make it as good for myself as I can.
