I really wanted to see this movie when it came out. I missed it in theaters but a friend rented it so we watched it together. And I really liked this movie. First of all let me say, the cast was amazing. The most gorgeous cast I've ever seen in a movie. Seriously. Whoever decided to put all these sexy men in a movie together is a genius!! So much eye candy. Yummy. I loved every single one of them.
Anyway, I really liked this movie. And I don't want to spoil too much of it, but it does not have a happy ending. It's a pretty sad movie. Because it's realistic. And I love when movies are realistic. So for me, I thought it was great. I was happy that finally someone made a movie about thieves that was realistic and showed what could happen instead of everything going perfectly and everyone ending up being rich. Even though it was sad to see the beautiful men get hurt, I really enjoyed watching this movie. I really want to watch it again! I think this movie is fantastic.

THOR

Back in May I went to the movies to see Thor. When my friends invited me, I did not know it was 3D. I don't like 3D movies. They mess with my eyes and mind..... Anyway, so we go to the movies and I get nervous when I'm handed the 3D glasses. But I saw the movie anyway. And I'm really glad that I went to go see it. If I knew before hand it was 3D I wouldn't have went. But in the end I'm glad I did. This movie was very entertaining. It definitely kept all of my attention. And the 3D wasn't too bad. It was definitely what made the movie. Without the 3D, it wouldn't have been as effective. The visuals would just have been weird without it. Also, Thor is a very handsome man. Very. The character's outfits made me giggle a bit, but they weren't too bad. The magical world where the lived was very over the top extravagant, but it worked because of the 3D. So overall, I would say this is a pretty cool movie. It was definitely entertaining.

Jumper

Wow I wish I could teleport. OMG my life would be amazing. Seriously, I think about this many many times in my life. So when I watched Jumper, the whole entire movie I sat there wishing I could teleport.*sigh* If only I had that ability... Anyway, on to the movie. It's interesting. I like Hayden Christiansen and Rachel Bilson. They were so cute together, just saying. I did not however understand why the hell Samuel L Jackson had white hair. His beard was black, but the hair on the top of his head was white. It looked ridiculous. Seriously, who's idea was that?!
I thought this movie was pretty cool! The whole teleporting thing was awesome!! He went to some really amazing places.  The action wasn't that fantastic in my opinion, but overall it had a cool effect. This movie was fun to watch, and I do recommend it!

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

I recently rented this movie because we started watching it in a class, but we didn't finish it. And I hate when I don't see movies from beginning to end. So I rented it to watch it.
This is a musical, which I usually hate. But it has Johnny Depp, so I didn't mind too much. Well actually, I didn't mind at all because his voice is amazing! Ah I love it! I've never heard him sing before this and I was super impressed. And even though they had him looking a mess in this film, he was still attractive. It's hard for him to be ugly. Fact.
This movie is very strange. The whole put-dead-people-in-pies thing is really gross. But I did like how dark this movie is. By that I mean the colors and settings and all that. The visuals looked really cool. Speaking about visuals, when Sweeney was killing people, it looked so fake. He slit their throats and so much blood squirted in all directions. So so fake. But I guess it fit the movie.
Overall, I can't say that I like this movie but I can't say I dislike it. It's kinda in the middle for me. It's pretty good though. If you like musicals, check it out. But if you don't like musicals, then I wouldn't recommend it because they sings allll the tiiiime. But then again, the actors have really good voices. So you might like it after all. I think this is a type of movie that you have to watch to know if you'd enjoy it or not.

August

I watched August some time ago. Why? Because it has Josh Hartnett in it and I have a ginormous crush on him. So I rented it without really knowing much about it. I don't care what a movie is about as long as it has him in it ♥  So let me just say, Damn he looks good in this movie. I mean he looks good in every movie, but in this one especially. His character had so many tattoos, which I am a huge fan of. So Josh Hartnett inked? Ummm...sexyyyyy.

Okay I'll stop talking about him now. I'll get to the actual movie part. I didn't understand it. Nope, I just didn't get it. All I understood was that Josh's character and his brother owned a business and they had 4 weeks before something bad happened. I have absolutely no idea what their business did. Or how they got so much money. Or why they were rapidly failing. Or what was going to happen when those four weeks ended. This movie just made no sense to me. I was so confused. So I recommend this movie to Josh Hartnett fans. Because, well you know. Also I recommend to people in business careers because you might understand what was going on.

Push

I watched Push in 2 days. I was at a sleepover. I don't remember if we started watching it at night and fell asleep...or if we started watching it before we went somewhere and didn't finish it before we left. Either way, I watched it in 2 sittings. Does that really matter to this blog post? Not really.
I think the cast in this movie is really good. Chris Evans is super duper hot. And Camilla Belle is beautiful. Dakota Fanning was mature and seemed more grown up. There were other people too, but I don't remember them. Anyway, I thought this movie was okay. I liked the whole idea of it, but I think it could have been better. It has potential. I love the whole super power thing, so of course I wanted to watch it. And during the whole movie, I kept thinking about which super power I would want if I was one of them. I think I'd want to be a Pusher. They're the ones who can put thoughts into people's heads and make them believe whatever you want them to. They manipulate people's minds. Cool, right?!
Yea, I'd think that would be extremely awesome.
There was some action in this movie, and a love story, and cool super powers. It's an alright movie. But hey, if you have the time, check it out.

The Haunting of Molly Hartley

When this movie I came out, I did not see it in movie theaters because alot of my friends said it was horrible. So I didn't want to pay so much to see a bad movie. Recently I rented it from Blockbuster. I was expecting it to be bad like my friends said, but I wanted to watch a movie so I picked this one. And I have to say. It was better than I expected it to be. I did expect it to suck though, so I was happy that it didn't! Now I'm not saying this movie is a really good movie either. But it was better than I thought. It was alright, pretty entertaining. I really liked it. Alot. I watched it so many times before I had to return it. I don't know exactly why I like it so much, it's not that great of a movie. And it's not very scary. But I was entertained! :)
I really like the cast. I think Haley Bennet is just gorgoues with dark hair. And she looks just like one of my friends, striking resemblence! And Chace Crawford is super hot, of course ♥♥
So I do recommend this movie, but I can't guarantee you'll like it. I like it alot! But since I'm the only person I know who likes it, I guess it's a movie that's just not for everyone.

My Best Friend's Girl

I love this movie. It was sooooo good! Way way better than I expected it to be. I rented it for 5 days and I think I watched it everyday I had it. It is a romantic comedy, which usually I do not like and have no interest for at all. But this, this is one romantic comedy that I really enjoyed. It was hilarious!
I loved the cast. Dane Cook is amazing..ahh. He looks like a Greek god. If I could go to Mount Olympus, I'd find Dane Cook there. He is just so gorgeous and hot. And Kate Hudson is also beautiful! So many times in the movie I just stared at her hair and wished I had hair like that. Jason Biggs is another main character and I thought he was great in this movie. He fit the part so well. I felt bad for his character sometimes... And Lizzy Caplan was incredibly funny. I loved her character! And Alec Baldwin is always good in any role he does.
The plot of this movie is really funny. If you don't know: quick summary - Dane Cook plays a guy who gets paid to take girls on dates and be a complete asshole, to make their ex-boyfriends look good. So then they're sad and hurt and crawl back to their ex. It works out for him until his best friend gets him to take out his ex, and he falls for her. Dun dun dun!! Because it is a romantic comedy, the ending is pretty predictable. Take a wild guess who she falls in love with! haha
This movie is so so funny! I love it, and I enjoyed watching it. It does have lots of crude humor, and some parts are pretty sexual. So I do recommend this movie to people over 15-16, and don't watch it with your parents ;)

Ryan Reynolds in a Box

Recently I watched the movie called Buried. It has Ryan Reynolds in it. Now you know why I watched it.
So in this movie, Ryan Reynolds is in a wooden coffin buried underground. And that's the movie.
Literally.
The whole entire movie takes place in his box. At the beginning I kept waiting for it to cut to a different scene. In a different setting. But nope, just Ryan in the box. The whole movie. From beginning to end. A box. With Ryan in it.
So I didn't like this movie too much. I got bored! I didn't even understand why he was buried alive and who did it. I think it is explained in the movie, but not very well. And I'm claustrophobic, so this movie made me creeped out in a way that's not enjoyable at all. It's not like the fun adrenaline scary feeling you get from horror movies. I was disappointed with this movie :(

SALT

I love Angelina Jolie. She is the definition of gorgeous. Salt is one of my favorite of her movies. It's an action movie, which we all know Angelina Jolie does very well. The movie starts out with her being a blonde CIA agent. Then she gets accused of being a Russian spy. So she runs away. I know my plot summary doesn't sound too exciting, but the movie is really interesting. So during the whole movie, you're trying to figure out if she is Evelyn Salt, the American CIA agent, or a Russian spy. I won't ruin the ending for you, but I was so happy with the way it ended. I was so happy when I found out who she really was. Haha I thought it was so awesome. And I love Angelina Jolie with black hair. I think she looks amazing! And super badass in her all black outfits with her hair that dark ☺ I think this movie is just so cool and awesome!
I always say not to trust anyone, and this movie can kinda help convince you if you don't agree with me. Haha. Anyone can lie...Just saying!

Let them eat cake.

My mom asked me to rent this for her from Blockbuster. So I did and I watched it. I didn't like it too much. I got really bored around the middle and then it was difficult for me to pay attention to it. I just lost interest. It's a 2 hour movie. Some parts were interesting, some parts were funny, some parts were sad. It was a cool historical movie. I liked seeing all the clothes they wore and the traditions that they followed. But it just wasn't that good of a movie to me. It was just...meh, okay. I could've went on with my day without watching it. But in the end I'm happy I did see it.
I recommend it to anyone who likes history, and historical films.

The Number 23

I've wanted to see The Number 23 since it came out in 2007. Now, in 2011, I FINALLY get to see it! I was so happy to watch this. And I really did like it. I thought the whole storyline was so cool! And it has a great twist! :D You know I love me some good twists. I really liked how it switched back and forth from the 2 characters. Jim Carrey's 2 roles. When they showed the scenes from the book he was reading, I just thought it was awesome. It was that dark film noir style. Which I love! And Virginia Madsen looks so good with black hair! Of course the whole thing with the number 23 was interesting. It was crazy how he found it everywhere! It was almost creepy.
I'm so happy I finally watched this, it was great!

Angels & Demons

The sequel to The Da Vinci Code is Angels & Demons. In the book series, it's actually the first. But the movie was created after Da Vinci Code, so therefore, it is the sequel. I actually like Da Vinci Code better. This movie is good too, but I just think Da Vinci Code is way more interesting. I think it's definitely worth watching! But if you must only watch one, I say go with Da Vinci Code.
Alot of this movie didn't make sense to me. I love a good twist in a movie, but in this one it just left me wondering "why?".

I did like how it showed the Vatican. My teacher said that the info in this movie was accurate. So it was cool to see how the Pope is chosen and what they do. And their outfits! haha 

Overall, I think this movie is good. Just good. I'm not crazy about it.

Da Vinci Code

I recently watched The Da Vinci Code again. We talked about it in my Art History class, so I rented it from Blockbuster. We actually watched it in class but I was absent that first day they watched it. Then the next day when they watched the end, I went to sleep because I forgot how it ended and I didn't want to ruin the ending for myself. yay for sleeping in class!! :)
I really like this movie. I thought it was very interesting. I love mysteries, and this was a pretty cool one. I never read the book, so I don't know how it compares. But this movie is great if you ask me. The Holy Grail theory is actually very interesting! And the art and locations are beautiful! I definitely tell everyone to check out this movie if you haven't already!! I don't really want to get into it too much, because it's kinda a bit complicated plot, so just watch it for yourself!

White Chicks!

I saw this movie for the first time a few months ago. I was going to blog about it, but I just didn't get to it until now. I though it was hilarious! Wow, it's so funny. I really like those 2 actors, they're really funny guys. Their disguises in this movie were ridiculous. Completely fake, but everyone fell for it. I think the obviously fake disguises were on purpose though. I mean, it did make it funnier to me! This has got to be one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I borrowed it from a friend and I kept watching it over and over again until I gave it back. If there is anyone who hasn't seen this movie, then GO WATCH IT!

OMG. This movie. Amazing! I loved it. I know I'm a little late seeing as it came out during Thanksgiving, but oh well. This movie was incredible. I love Christina Aguilera and Cher, so them together was just a whole bunch of epic-ness! They're both absolutely fantastic artists. I'm so happy that they were in this movie together. The music was great. The dancing was also amazing. Burlesque dance is very sexy ;) And all the dancers in this movie were very very hot. The outfits were so awesome. I loved their clothes! I seriously wish I could own all of their Burlesque outfits. That would be so much fun. This movie literally makes me want to be a Burlesque dancer. I can not think of a better job that I would enjoy. This movie was one of my favorite movies of 2010, if not the most favorite. I love it and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD because I will definitely buy it!

The Quiet

I watched the movie called The Quiet a few days ago. I was bored so I went on crackle.com where you can legally watch free movies online. I found this movie and I decided to watch it. It seemed interesting. It has Camilla Bella and Elisha Cuthbert. I like both of them and I think they were really great in this movie. The movie is about a girl (played by Camilla) who is deaf who gets adopted by her godparents after her father died. Her new sister (played by Elisha) pretty much hates her. She has a tough time dealing with the situation. I don't want to give details about the plot, because a lot of shocking surprises happen. So I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it. But I was really surprised at how much I liked this movie. I think it's a really good, strong, heavy, dark movie. It's pretty intense. It's not for everyone, but I think it's a good movie.

I Know Who Killed Me

Today I watched the movie I Know Who Killed Me. It was the second time I've seen this. I watched it the first time when I was in 9th grade. I was so happy to get to see it again today, because I didn't remember much, I didn't know how it ended so it was still all twisty at the end. So it kept me guessing.
So this movie has Lindsay Lohan in it. You know, I was always a big fan of hers. I hope she gets through the tough times in her life well :) I love that she has black hair in this movie. I think it looks so good on her! Well, I think she looks good in every hair color. But the black hair just fits this movie so well.
So anyway, this movie is about a girl. A girl named Aubrey who got kidnapped. Then the girl was found. But she claims that she is somebody else, someone named Dakota. Seeing as she is covered in torture wounds, looks exactly like Aubrey, and has the same birthday, the doctors and FBI say it's the same girl. But she keeps saying she is Dakota, and has a whole life story. She works as a stripper in another town, and has no idea who Aubrey is. So is this really the same girl living in a fantasy her mind came up with, or is she really Dakota? Hmm...Well I won't say how it ends. 
I love the plot of this movie, but I think it could have been better. There were some really weird parts that didn't make sense to me. But I also liked all the symbolism with the color blue. You'd notice how so many things are blue in this movie. But anyway, this movie didn't do so well. I think it's interesting, but it's not anything super amazing. I can't say I dislike it. But it's just not that great of a movie. It had potential...

30 Days of Night

A few weeks ago, I watched the movie 30 Days Of Night for the first time. I really wanted to see this in theaters. But then I didn't get the chance to. So then when it came out on DVD I didn't get the chance to rent it. And now, years later, I think it came out 2007? I don't know, anyway, I finally got to see it!
**First of all....JOSH HARTNET <3  He is a sheriff in this movie, and he looks amazing in his cop uniform. Mmm.
**It takes place in Barrow, Alaska. The northernmost town in America.  Cool!
**It's dark. I thought it was so cool how we got to see that it's so dark for so long in Alaska. But since we're not used to that, it kinda seemed like it all happened it one night. Which made the movie seem rushed. But still, all the darkness was cool.
**The bad guys are vampires. I thought this was a zombie movie!! But no, they're vampires.
Well I like this movie. I think it's not a great fantastic movie, but when you're bored, it's a good pick to watch just because. And seriously, it's Josh Hartnett in a cop uniform!! That by itself is worth watching.

Black Hawk Down

Usually I'm not one to like war movies. But a few of them I really like. This one is one of my favorites. Maybe the fact that one of my favorite actors is the main character is what makes me like it so much. I mean, Josh Hartnett is the reason why I decided to watch it. And the fact is that he's unbelievably attractive and there's alot of cute soldiers in this movie definitely makes me like it even more (Josh Hartnett and Orlando Bloom, what's not to like?). It's a sad movie, because of course people die in war movies. From the title you can obviously expect to see black hawks go down. I don't remember how many, but it was sad to watch the helicopters crash. There was one scene that made me tear up. I'll spoil it for you. A soldier was injured on his leg, and the medic was trying to help him and his friends were around him trying to support him. He was screaming and crying until he passed out. While he was out the medic said that he couldn't save him. When he woke up, all the guys told him everything was going to be okay and they smiled and cheered him up. But of course, moments later, he died. They all knew he wasn't going to make it, but they just couldn't tell him. That was the saddest scene in my opinion. It's a great movie. Of course, action and shooting and fighting is expected in a war movie, and this movie delivers. It's so sad but yet so great. As you can see from the cover, it won 2 Academy Awards. So if you don't believe me how good it is, maybe those awards will convince you.
