I love the phones in this movie. They are huge! hahaha
I have this movie on VHS. That's how 90s it is.
I recently watched it on tv. I was watching a movie and then this one came next. It was in the early AM hours, so I didn't plan on watching it. But once I started watching, I had to keep watching till the end. It's such a good movie, and a great plot!!
First of all, the cast is so young-looking and beautiful!
Second of all, I love the ending. (Spoiler coming up). I love that Jules (Julia Roberts) didn't end up with the guy. He still got married to Kimmy (Cameron Diaz). It wasn't the cliche happy ending where the main character gets the guy in the end.

I had a nice nap today. This time, I actually decided to take a nap. I went to sleep around 4 30. I got up at 9 20. Oh how I love sleep.
Now I just have homework and studying to do. Bleah.
I'm looking forward to going to sleep for the night. Even though it might be hard since I just slept. But I'm still feeling sleepy so I think it won't be too hard. Cheezits are really good.

I had a nice nap today. But I wasn't planning on taking a nap. I was watching tv when I started having really intense abdominal pain around 5 pm. So after a while, I layed down in my bed and curled up under my blanket. I must have fallen asleep instantly because that's the last I remembered. My mom woke me up around 9 and brought me pizza and limeade. Now I'm up and I have to do homework. =( I have so much. I was so tired at school, I should've known I would have fallen asleep. But I felt absolutely horrible!! I'll be up late tonight. Then I'll be even more tired at school tommorow. =(

Tip in Life about Cheez-its

Tip in Life:
If you are going to buy Cheez-its, buy Reduced Fat Cheez-its. They are so much better than the regular ones. And they're healthier because there's less fat. I don't recommend junk food. I'd actually tell you not to eat junk food. But if there's that one snack you really enjoy every now and then (for me it's Cheez-its) then get the "healthiest" version.

3:10 to Yuma

So I really liked this movie. Now, I don't remember it. But I just remember liking it when I saw it when it came out on dvd in 2007. I remember that I was surprised at how much I liked it. It's a Western movie, which usually I'm not into Western movies. But this one is so good! I wish I remembered why...
I need to watch it again :)
Also, Christian Bale is hot.

PROM

Oh em geez. Prom is today. In a few hours. Yep. PROM.
I'm excited to get my dance on!!! And I'm excited to see everyone looking pretty all dressed up. Because not many kids dress nice at my school. I'm kinda nervous though, because today is a stormy day. There was a tornado pass my town, so it's still wet here, and I'll be on 5 inch heels, I don't want to slip!! It's a BAD storm!! I'm also nervous because my stomach hurts. But all the excitement will make me feel better later on tonight!
So I just got my hair dyed. I'm all 100% blonde again :) Yep, I was in another town while my town had the really bad weather pass through. But I think a round 2 is coming... :(
My friend is going to come over in about an hour maybe, and I will do her makeup and my makeup and then we'll put on our dresses and get ready! Yay! We're both meeting our prom dates at the prom. Yea, I know that's not the traditional way to do it, but they don't have cars and they're our friends so no need to overdo the whole thing.
Prom is a major part of high school so I know this will be an important night I'll remember forever!
That being said, I'm ready to get my dance on dance on get my get my dance on!!!

The meaning of the song is about fantasizing about someone obviously! Haha. How sweet?
The video is so sweet and cool. It has Jason and his video love interest dancing, and I love love love the choreography!! It's so great. And I love how the camera zooms in on the girl's amazing boots.

Right now, at this exact moment, I'm watching Lifehouse's video for "Halfway Gone"
And it's so great. Of course I'm in love with it. I'm so happy that I got it free on iTunes a while back. The song is so catchy. And it's one of those songs that when I hear, I have to sing along/tap my foot/dance/nod my head to. It's just a catchy, great song. And the video is super cool!! It has this really cool thing where one person will be standing, then more will step out from behind them and it's like "Woah where did they come from??" Haha, you'd understand what I mean if you see it.

What's coming up

I just thought I should let you know. Since I'm camera-less, I won't be blogging much about makeup. Since I can't take a picture of products or my face. Makeup is the love of my life, so it's going to be hard not to blog about it. But I also love music and movies and I love blogging about them also. So for the next I don't know how many days, I will have a lot of blog posts about songs. Also a few movies. Also, I'll blog about random stuff that happened that day. Maybe that will be fun.

New Background!!

Baking Cookies

So right now I am baking cookies. My mom hates buying cookie dough and refuses to do it because I can't cook and she doesn't want to make them herself. But recently me and 2 of my friends baked cookies at her house. So now that I've seen and participated in baking cookies, I'm feeling confident to bake some. After an argument, I convinced my mom to buy cookie dough. So yesterday she bought some. And today, right now, I am baking them. They are the kind where they come in little cubes and you just put them on the cookie sheet. I baked them for 17 minutes but they're still not done yet. So now they are back in the oven and I'm waiting for them to be done. And then I'll eat them!! I'm so excited. I really want cookies. They'll be really tasty I hope. They're chocolate chip. YUMMY!! =)

Procrastination

But unfortunately, I do it every day. And it pisses me off. I hate it. It's definitely my worst bad habit. I guess I have horrible time management?

Yesterday I stayed at home because I felt too sick. Today my mom had to check me out of school. This is not fun. I don't know what's wrong with me...I've been taking my medicine..it helps with one thing, but made the other worse.... :(

At home sick again...

Hey.
It's around 8 30 in the morning on Wednesday. Usually, at this time, I would be at school. But I'm at home today. Sick to my stomach again. While I was doing my makeup, I felt sharp pains in my lower abdomen (I would say stomach, but that's technically the organ, so I'll say abdomen to avoid confusion). It hurts!! I asked my mom to stay home, and she didn't want me to because she thinks I miss school too much. I have 4 absences for the whole year. There's 180 days in the school year, which ends next month. So see I have missed a tiny amount of school. So anyway, she let me stay home. Thanks Mommy!! It sucks because today is an early-release day at school. So I would get out at 1. Which is always fun. But instead I'm at home blogging about how much I'm suffering from this pain right now. But I hate school, so I'm not complaining about not going. It was just bad timing, I guess. Finally a fun day at school and then bleah. Oh well. I hope I feel better soon. I feel like shit right now. I don't think I'll sleep though, it hurts too much to let me fall asleep. Okay, I'm done complaining now.

This song is from their album No Really, I'm Fine. Which is an amazing album by the way. I'm seriously very happy that I have it. (Thanks Treasure!) All of the song are so freaking great. I can't think of one that I don't even slightly dislike. So of course it's hard to talk about just this one song..But it's one of the first ones I listened to and immediately loved it. So I think it's a good pick.
So this song is about a possible cheating girlfriend. It's in direction to the girlfriend. The guy thinks she is cheating on him, but doesn't have proof. "I see those hush hush looks you give when you're talking to him" He can tell that she doesn't want the other guy to say anything in case he reveals that they were together. Well that's how I interpret it. "Your heart is charcoal smoking black, why don't you just tie the mattress to your back?" Ouch!! Yes, he's pretty pissed at his girlfriend...

I've been listening to Mariah Carey's "Up Out My Face" so many times the past week or two. I got the video free on iTunes a while back. I really like it! I love how it's all red and white so it looks like a Target commercial. I love the song, I think it's so catchy! I love the lyrics too. Especially "If we were two lego blocks even the Harvard University graduating class of 2010 couldn't put us back together again." Haha I LOVE that!! This song is a breakup song, of course. It seems to me like Mariah Carey has so many songs about breaking up..I love Mariah Carey!! So much :) The only thing I don't like about the video is Nicki Minaj..but it's still a good video. The song on the album doesn't have her in it, so I love that a lot more. Also the end part where the people are drumming isn't part of the song, but it is on the album as a reprise. I've watched the video so many times and listened to the song over and over again. I LOVE it! <3

I feel so sick. To my stomach. Isn't that the worst? It went away during the day at school. But in the morning it was horrible. And now my stomach hurts again. :(

I can't see

So I'm sure you don't know that I wear contacts. They are not colored (as many people think). My vision is really bad. I have glasses that I wear when I'm at home. I had an eye infection once and I had to wear glasses for a week. In the mornings, it was a whole different story putting on my makeup. Simply, I could not see. I had to have a mirror right up in my face. It was hard to make sure my eye makeup was even. It was hard to see where I was blending. It took me a while to get my makeup looking nice. I had to keep putting my glasses on to check if everything looked fine. It was not fun. But I got through it. But it was very difficult at the beginning. =P

I broke my camera.

I'm pretty sure it's gone. It's a really bad camera. And it's had many problems for a while now. I dropped it less than 3 feet and it landed on a pile of wires on carpet softly. But I guess that was enough damage to top it off and bring it's life to an end. It was seriously not a bad fall. I've dropped it on way harder grounds before and nothing. But I guess the mini problems just added up.

I've wanted a new camera for a while!!! And now I can finally buy myself a new one. It will take a while for me to save up my money. But I know I can do it because a camera is so important to me.

China Glaze blue sparkly polish.

A while ago I bought a gorgeous China Glaze polish. I don't know what it's name is. But it is dark blue and sparkly. I blogged about it in my post about my light blue and dark blue french manicure. Well I just wanted to say that the China Glaze polish chipped very soon and very easily. It looks bad! I love China Glaze, so I was disappointed with this particular polish's quality. I haven't had this problem with other CG polishes, so I'm hoping it's just this one. So yea. I just wanted to blog about it. It's a gorgeous gorgeous color, which I love. But it chips too soon =(

Bleu tip nails!

Hey Hey Hey!
So I made my nails look super cute!!
I love using different shades of the same color on my nails. This mani is really cute. I used a lighter blue on my nails, then painted the tips with a darker blue.


This is the China Glaze polish I used. I don't know the name of it, since I lost the sticker with the name on it. In the bottle it is sparkly. On my nails, it's not nearly that sparkly. But it's still a gorgeous color. Took too long to dry. But I did put so many coats of it on...


This is the Sally Girl polish I used. 2 coats. The first coat was horrible!! This is the best picture I got of this polish. It doesn't even look like that in real life. It's waaaay lighter. Oh well...

April Fools Day!!

I didn't do an April Fools joke today. But it's okay, mine always suck anyway. I fell for one today though. In my drama class, we were painting poster boards, and one guy told me I got paint on my tennis shoes. And I was like, Oh no really? but then he said April Fools! So yea, I fell for it heehee =)
I remember one year I told my dad I was joining the school band and I signed up to play the tuba. That was the best April Fools prank I ever did. Yea...
