School Pet Peeves!

There's a pet peeves tag on Youtube that I wanted to do, but because I have way too many pet peeves, I decided to just pick one topic to talk about. So I picked SCHOOL! Because I hate that place!!

NO SCHOOL TOMMOROW!!

The fact that I do not have to attend school brings me an insane amount of happiness. You have no idea.
OH wait, in the title of this post I said I have no school tommorow. Seems I forgot to mention that I don't have school the whole week.

Missing school is great

It's completely worth having to return to school after getting out early to take 3 tests you missed :)
Yes that's what I did today. But it's okay because I was just SUPER HAPPY to miss 2 days last week. I wasn't skipping, I had a perfectly good reason, I don't need to explain myself! Hey, no I'm serious, I have a legit reason!!
Anyway, when I was driving home, some lady decided to tailgate me. So I went super sloooow through my neighborhood. And then at the stop sign, I made sure that I stayed there an adequate amount of time. I hate when people tailgate me.

Exams! Already?

This week is exam week at my high school. I am a senior. So these are our 9 week exams, meaning that one fourth of my senior year is over. I only have 27 weeks of high school left. That's insane. I can't believe it's been this long already. I think I really need to start appreciating and enjoying high school before it's over. Appreciate how easy it is. And it's hard for me to find something to enjoy about it. I guess all my friends and the people that I know. I need to enjoy being around them because after graduation, we might never see each other again. Ah, high school.

Summer school work

Summer work for school should be illegal. I mean, it's the summer, you are not in school. But yet you still have to do homework as if you were. That completely defeats the purpose of summer break. It defeats the purpose of not going to school in the summer. If a teacher wants you to do some work, then she/he should give it to you during the school year!!!

Diana makes car go Vroom!!

Today was the first time I ever drove myself to school. And it was AMAZING!! I still don't have my own car =( I just borrowed my brother's car. He was very nice to let me borrow it for the rest of the school year. Which is 4 days by the way!!
I left my house really early, so I would get a good parking spot and so no one would see me and laugh at my parking. I have to make sure the car is straight and everything, so I had to back up and re-park and then I stuck my little head out the door to see the line and all that fun parking stuff. Then I sat there for a while. I jammed to Lady Gaga!! It was fun.
Then at the end of the school day, I walked myself to the parking lot and got in the car and turned on my Lady Gaga music and drove home. It was a short drive, but it was alot of fun. It felt really good. I felt so independent and all grown up. Which I've wanted for a long long time. I'm a junior and until now my mommy picked me up from school. So everyday I felt like a fifth grader. Not fun.
When I got home my brother asked how many people I bragged to that I drove to school. He was surprised when I told him none. I don't like to brag, and this is nothing to brag about. Seriously, little freshmen do it everyday. I'd be embarrassed to say this was my first day driving to school.
But it's okay when I blog about it of course =)

4 DAYS OF SCHOOL LEFT!!!!

OMG!!! School is almost out! 4 more days. 4. 4. That's it. Just 4 days and my junior year of high school is done. Over. Finished. Gone. The End.

It's MAY

OMG. It's May. I have 3 weeks of school left. I swear it feels like school just started 4 months ago. Time flies. I just can't believe that it's already the end of the school year.
I'm happy that summer is coming up though! I'm ready to wear all my booty shorts :)

ZZZZzzzzz

I had a nice nap today. But I wasn't planning on taking a nap. I was watching tv when I started having really intense abdominal pain around 5 pm. So after a while, I layed down in my bed and curled up under my blanket. I must have fallen asleep instantly because that's the last I remembered. My mom woke me up around 9 and brought me pizza and limeade. Now I'm up and I have to do homework. =( I have so much. I was so tired at school, I should've known I would have fallen asleep. But I felt absolutely horrible!! I'll be up late tonight. Then I'll be even more tired at school tommorow. =(

PROM

Oh em geez. Prom is today. In a few hours. Yep. PROM.
I'm excited to get my dance on!!! And I'm excited to see everyone looking pretty all dressed up. Because not many kids dress nice at my school. I'm kinda nervous though, because today is a stormy day. There was a tornado pass my town, so it's still wet here, and I'll be on 5 inch heels, I don't want to slip!! It's a BAD storm!! I'm also nervous because my stomach hurts. But all the excitement will make me feel better later on tonight!
So I just got my hair dyed. I'm all 100% blonde again :) Yep, I was in another town while my town had the really bad weather pass through. But I think a round 2 is coming... :(
My friend is going to come over in about an hour maybe, and I will do her makeup and my makeup and then we'll put on our dresses and get ready! Yay! We're both meeting our prom dates at the prom. Yea, I know that's not the traditional way to do it, but they don't have cars and they're our friends so no need to overdo the whole thing.
Prom is a major part of high school so I know this will be an important night I'll remember forever!
That being said, I'm ready to get my dance on dance on get my get my dance on!!!

This sucks

Yesterday I stayed at home because I felt too sick. Today my mom had to check me out of school. This is not fun. I don't know what's wrong with me...I've been taking my medicine..it helps with one thing, but made the other worse.... :(

At home sick again...

Hey.
It's around 8 30 in the morning on Wednesday. Usually, at this time, I would be at school. But I'm at home today. Sick to my stomach again. While I was doing my makeup, I felt sharp pains in my lower abdomen (I would say stomach, but that's technically the organ, so I'll say abdomen to avoid confusion). It hurts!! I asked my mom to stay home, and she didn't want me to because she thinks I miss school too much. I have 4 absences for the whole year. There's 180 days in the school year, which ends next month. So see I have missed a tiny amount of school. So anyway, she let me stay home. Thanks Mommy!! It sucks because today is an early-release day at school. So I would get out at 1. Which is always fun. But instead I'm at home blogging about how much I'm suffering from this pain right now. But I hate school, so I'm not complaining about not going. It was just bad timing, I guess. Finally a fun day at school and then bleah. Oh well. I hope I feel better soon. I feel like shit right now. I don't think I'll sleep though, it hurts too much to let me fall asleep. Okay, I'm done complaining now.

I'm going shopping today for...

a PROM dress!!!
Yep, that's right, Diana is going to prom this year.
I'm pretty excited. I love dancing, and Prom is a big dance, so I'm going to get my dance on!! Woot woot!
But anyways, this post is about shopping! I'm going today with my mom. She has been bugging me about it for a WHILE now. She was very surprised when I told her I was going to prom. She found it hard to believe that a boy actually asked me...
So yep yep, I'm hoping I find a cute dress!! I HATE wearing dresses. =( So I'm not looking forward to trying to find one that looks good on me. But oh well...I need a dress. And I'm happy to get to go to Prom this year, so you bet I'll put that dress on!! =)

School sucks

I hate exams

so my school decided to have a screwed up exam schedule. The first two are tomorrow, on Friday. Then Monday through Wednesday we have the rest of them (six). They started our exams on Friday. I'm not the only one who thinks that's stupid, right?

I'm sooooo nervous

In school, I am taking Drama 2. So a major major part of the class is performing a class play. So on Wednesday, I will be in a play. I'm scared. I'm nervous. I don't want to be in a play. I was in a play once and I said 2 sentences. That was easy. In wasn't even on a stage (it was in a gym). But in this play, I say alot more than that. Way more. I'm a very important character. And I'm scared. This is my first real stage play. And I'm so scared. I have all my lines memorized. But it gets confusing when I'm supposed to say them. I am the only character in the play that breaks the fourth wall. So I talk to the audience for the whole thing except one part at the end. I'm the first person and last person to talk. So yea, I feel the pressure. Oh and did I mention that I'm scared?

Homework sucks

Too bright!!

So today at school, in my last class of the day, the window right behind me was open and the blinds were open and up. So the sun shone onto my papers and book and my whole work area of my desk. I hate the sun. It was so bright right on my desk. And I had to look at it!! It hurt my eyes so badly and gave me a headache. My pupils on my eyes are pretty big. I don't know why. They just take up too much space. So everything is always too bright for me. Like my iPod for example, which is on the lowest brightest setting and at night it's still too bright for me. So I had to suffer that whole class period. Well I still have that headache :( I have horrible vision and wear contacts. Next time I go to the eye doctor, maybe I should complain about all the brightness....

School Uniforms Suck

So yesterday, the school board voted on whether my school district should get school uniforms.
This highly upsets me.
I DO NOT want uniforms.
I think uniforms are very stupid, and completely pointless. The "reason" for why the school board wants uniforms is for safety. What? How is this safe? How would clothes make us safer?? WTF?? WTF??!!
And they wouldn't be actual traditional uniforms either. The list of our "uniforms" is just saying specifically what to wear. What kinds of clothing items, and what color.
Our school colors are black and gold. So of course those are the colors they want us to wear.
If it's voted to get uniforms, I'm going emo. All black outfits.
Uniforms would take away students' individuality. We wouldn't be able to express ourselves through clothing anymore. And everyone would look the same.
Parents would have to spend even more money on buying their kids a new wardrobe that agrees with the uniform dress code.
I think the dress code we already have is completely ridiculous.
For a few years now, the school board has wanted uniforms, but it's never been agreed on. Last year, we got scared that we would get them. A survey was taken by parents and the results were 50 - 50. So no uniforms. But now, the school board is deciding.
I hope we find out soon what the vote ended up to be. I hope we don't get uniforms. There will be a serious problem between the school, students, and parents if we do.

"snow" day

Hey Hey Hey
So on Wednesday, I kept hearing "we might not have school tomorrow" "school is going to be canceled" "yay No school" and statements of that sort. People thought that school would be canceled because it was going to snow. I live in a place that doesn't get snow. So I thought, Yea right, that's stupid that people are getting excited because it's ridiculous. It's not going to snow.
Well the next day, Thursday, yesterday, I wake up in the morning and I grab my iPod and get on Facebook. Everyone's status said we didn't have school. I was surprised but I rolled over and went back to sleep. I continued to sleep until 3 pm. I asked my brother how the weather was and he said it didn't even snow. DUH!!
So then today, Friday, we all go to school. The temperature was freezing, there was alot of ice that wasn't melting, and it even snowed a tiny bit for maybe 5 minutes.
Our "Snow day" on Thursday was a joke. Today should have been the snow day. Good job, school district.
